Meeting Point

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley 330 Kms

- After picking you up at the airport or the hotel / riad where you are staying we will head south towards Ouarzazate. On the way we will cross the amazing landscapes of the Atlas through the incredible port of Tizi n'Tichka, 2,260 meters high. Halfway we will arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the most amazing fortified city of Morocco, set of movies like Gladiator or Kingdom of Heaven. Continuing the route we will reach Ouarzazate, where we will see the Kasbah of Taourirt. Taking the road of the Thousand Kasbahs to Skoura, and from here we will cross the Roses Valley to finally reach the Dades Gorges, where we will stay.

Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga 250 Kms :

After breakfast we will set off to the Dades Valley and cross the incredible Todra Gorges, where we will stay until lunch time.

With the energies refueled, we will take direction to Merzouga and we will cross the Palmeral de Jorf (where the best dates come out) and Erfoud, a small village where you can visit a marble workshop.

Once in Merzouga we will leave the vehicle to enter the desert on camelback in search of the camp where we will spend the night. Here, in the silence of the desert, we will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in Morocco. Overnight in a private upgraded haima with bathroom and shower

Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Draa Valley - Agdz - Ouarzazate -Marrakech 550 Kms :

Wake up in the morning to see the sunrise over the dunes, return by camel to the hostel. After breakfast, departure to the vast palm grove of Tafilalet through the city of Rissani (the Alaouite dynasty and the capital of the ancient Alaouite sultans). Route to Alnif, the oasis of Tazarine and Nkob. Continuation to Ouarzazate through the sublime Draa Valley, the Berber village of Agdz and the port of Ait Saoun (1660 meters altitude). Later arrival at the end of the day in Marrakech.

“Trip of a Lifetime!”

Abdeslam was the absolute most amazing guide and travelling companion that anyone could ever ask for! If you want to make a friend and learn to truly appreciate the culture and beauty of Morocco, then you must have Abdeslam with you! He taught us so much about the history of the region and beauty of the Sahara. Here are a few of the things we experienced on our trip: We stayed at five star accommodations; We enjoyed tea and stories with local Berber tribesmen; We ate delicious food; We saw the sunset over the majestic dunes of the Sahara desert while riding camels, and we sang and danced with local musicians under the stars around a camp fire. We will talk about this trip for the rest of our lives. We felt like we got a real feel for the country of Morocco through the people Abdeslam introduced us to and the stores of his life in the Sahara. He was also very careful and playful with our little boy, and we appreciated the patience and understanding that he showed for our toddler.
