Agdez, Tamnougalt Kasbah and Palmary

Hike (only walking) the magic palmary of Daraa valley and discover types of different trees here, plants, vegetables and fruits. In addition you will have an Idea about the population of this area ( where did these people came from and when). In the same time you are going to visit Kasbah des caid and the Kser Tamnougalt in general.

Meeting Point
Agdz Bus station
- In the center of Agdez there is a taxi station where we start walking to the top of a hill called Pasha house. The view is panoramic there and the mountain Kissan clearly showed to the right side of Palmary.
Pasha House, Daraa Palmary
After 500 m from Bus station, there is a nice hill to walk to.
Walking down from Pasha house to the palmary, we are going to walk through the palmary for one our and a half; passing by Talouine berber village to join the new Kasbah des caids built in the 20th century exactly in 1927 on a nice hill Taourirt.
Kasbah Taourirt
After walking the 6 Km of the palmary, we pass by a berber village Tafergalt and then climb a litle hill to see the kesbah; Kasbah Taourirt is home of movies like prince of persia, babel, Aladin, Gladiator 1 and Gladiator 2.
Restaurant Chez Yacob
After an effort, Walking, you have time to pose in a very nice Guest house , using the toilettes, taking lunch and taking pictures of the mountain from a nice terrasse.
Kser Tamnougalt
Kser Tamnougalt is an old vilage surrounded by a wall 4 main doors. We are going to see the main four doors and walk in the vilage to have a look at the litle houses of the berber people.
Kasbah des Caids
Kasbah des Caids is a big old house belonging to the 16th century. We are going to visit the Kasbah, learn how they were building with simple materials, only clay and straw. furthermore, we will see each part of the building's functions; the rooms, the kitchen, old toilettes, and so on.

if you hava a car or pay transportation fee, I can guide you in Timidert; Afra and Zagora
