I'm Juan — a National Nature, History, and Cultural Heritage Guide in Nicaragua. I came to this through curiosity, not convention. Trained as a mechanical engineer, I spent years crossing the United States before retiring early from the Pipe Trades Union in Las Vegas. When I came home after twenty-six years away, tourism found me. I've guided travelers here since 2009, and it's the work I'm proudest of.
