DELOS, Apollo's island. Historical & archaeological tour.

In this tour you will visit the ruins of an ancient town, destroyed by pirates in 69 BC, and ever since left abandoned. In the theater district you will visit houses, shops, workshops, the theater, and the huge public water cistern. In the area of the temples you will see the ruins of Apollo's temple, as well as what remains of his gigantic statue. You will also visit the Sacred Lake (the exact spot where Apollo was born), and the famous Terrace of the Lions.
