Russell B.
Hi! My name is Russell and I lead private hiking, sightseeing, and snowshoeing day tours in the Canadian Rockies, focusing on Kananaskis and the national parks of Banff, Yoho, and Kootenay. My tours operate year-round and include door-to-door transportation and a picnic lunch for all guests, up to a maximum of 11. Tours are customizable according to group preferences and pace, and my itineraries suit a wide range of visitors from couples and families, to groups of friends or corporate outings. Having spent time living in Europe, the US, South America, and the Far East, I feel so lucky to now call Calgary home and am immensely passionate about sharing the beauty of the Canadian Rockies with visitors from all over the world. I prioritize a safe, ethical, and immersive approach to showcasing the Rockies, and am an IGA-certified four-season hiking guide with wilderness first aid training and a class 4 commercial driving license. My goal is simple: to exceed expectations and deliver a highlight-of-the-trip experience, every time. Giving back: A portion of every journey is donated to a hand-picked charity supporting either environmental protection, Indigenous education, or animal welfare. You’ll have the opportunity to choose which cause your booking supports.

I am an Authorized Tourist Guide in Stockholm with 4+ years experience working as a Guide in Stockholm. The majority in Stockholm are not authorized, so this is an investment from my side and a qualiy assurance for you as a guest. Throughout the years, I have had the pleasure to work with both companies as well as individual bookings, where I have encountered people and made friends from all over the big wide world. Why should I guide you? Well, I am first of all local: raised in the City neighborhood of Östermalm, so if there is something I know in life - it's Stockholm! Furtheron, I am experienced and have many years not only in tourism behind me, working as a Guide. As a person I am very flexible and service minded. My concept is very simple: Tell me where you want to go and I will make it happen! No thought or dream is too big. 150 years ago, us Swedes had an American Dream - today, my wish is that your Swedish Dream will come true! My goal is to give you the best experience possible in Stockholm and for you to revisit Sweden many, many times. ¡Hola! Hi! I’m Gonzalo, your certified guide in Prague. Horváth Á.
Born and raised in Budapest, I’m a 37-year-old licensed, professional tour guide who lives and breathes the city every day! I started guiding 8 years ago as a passionate traveler and Budapest local myself, and I was eager to share my love and enthusiasm for this very special European city. Being an adventurer myself, I’ve lived in 5 different cities across Europe and Asia, and I also travel a lot in my free time, so I know exactly what it's like to arrive in a city as a stranger, wanting to learn and soak it all up! I can completely customize the tour according to your needs and interests, and I am ready to answer any question you might have, from politics through local life to history and architecture. I used to work as a gastronomy journalist, so in case you’re a foodie, I’m your person as well!:) I have been guiding private tours for 8 years daily, but I’m still very passionate and excited about meeting people from all over the world every day and getting to know them while showing them my culture, so you can rest assured that we’ll say goodbye as friends at the end of the tour!:) In my free-time I'm very much into psychology, traveling, learning languages, hiking, spending time with family and friends, writing and acting! I'm curious to learn about you too, if you like any of these activities, culture, arts and history and you want to explroe the city with a friendly, but professional, licensed, experienced true local guide by your side, I'm your person! I'd also gladly customsie the tour to your likes and wishes as, that's my specialty, so you can get the most out of your stay here!

China
Pima W.
Hi, I'm Pima! I'm a licensed English-speaking guide in Hangzhou. I moved to Hangzhou from northern China in 2012, drawn by its lakes, tea mountains, and the weight of a thousand years of poetry. My background isn't your typical guide story. I started as a journalist, then became the only content strategist in a marketing department before I found my true calling: telling stories about places. I'm also a museum docent and a bird watcher, which means I spend my off hours in galleries and nature. What I bring to a tour: It's the result of hundreds of books, academic papers, and conversations with local elders. I specialize in the Dynasties in China, and the old shiny civilization. My tours are built on stories. Ask me about tea and I'll take you to the actual source. Ask me about history and I'll show you where poets once carved their verses into stone. Ask me what else I love and I'll tell you: birdwatching, stargazing, 3D printing, and finding quiet corners of this city that even locals don't know exist. I don't rush. And I genuinely believe that the best tours feel less like a tour and more like walking through history with a friend who happens to know a lot. Come explore China with me. Let's make a real conversation.

Diogo C.
Hello, I’m Diogo — a private Lisbon tour guide, sommelier, and host, with a background in hospitality and Portuguese culture. I’ve worked for many years in the hospitality world in Portugal and London, including as a sommelier, and I studied the WSET Level 3 in Wines in London. I’m also the co-founder of a Portuguese wine brand in Alcácer do Sal, which gives me a strong connection to local producers and the countryside beyond the cities. While wine is an important part of my background, my tours are not limited to food and wine. I design private, tailor-made tours from Lisbon that can focus on culture, history, landscapes, architecture, and everyday local life, or combine these elements naturally with wine and gastronomy when it makes sense. I work exclusively with private guests and small groups, creating experiences at a relaxed pace and shaped around each guest’s interests. Whether you’re visiting Portugal for the first time or returning to explore more deeply, my goal is to offer an authentic, personal perspective rather than a standard sightseeing tour. I look forward to welcoming you and helping you experience Portugal in a genuine, unhurried way.

Vanessa R.
Hola and welcome to Madrid and its surroundings! My name is Vanessa and I'm looking forward to showing you this beautiful and unique city and making sure that you enjoy every second of your visit. But not only the city of Madrid; there are a number of other cities, within a distance of 60-70 minutes by car, like Toledo, Segovia, El Escorial, Ávila, … that fully complement the modern Madrid with the history of Spain in more than two thousand years: romans, muslins, jews and christians. I’m a proud madrileña with Swiss Heritage from my father. He came to Madrid in the sixties and fell in love with it. I have also lived in other European countries like Switzerland, Germany and France. Although I have travelled a lot, my favourite city has always been Madrid and its secret squares, sunny terraces, centenary shops, taverns and great city life. Come with me and discover the history and legends of Madrid, its Muslim origins, the charming streets and neighbourhoods, three of the best art museums in the world, the unique shops, the best tapas and especially the Spanish way of life. We can also have a look over the roofs of Madrid from special viewpoints and taste the authentic gastronomy and wines in town. In the cities around Madrid you will see a different place. Much smaller, more quiet and with an amazing and still touchable history. Cities that ruled the region and Spain thousand years ago, when Madrid did not even exist. PS: If what you want to see is not included in my list (like the Thyssen Museum, Retiro Park, Aranjuez, Lavapies), please send me an email and I will arrange a special tour for you. Bienvenidos! Licensed Tour Guide in Spain and Spanish National Trust Sites ( Royal Palace, El Escorial, Toledo, Segovia, Avila ) with almost 10 years Guiding experience. Expert in History & History of Art

I live in Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan. I am a certified National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in English. I acquired my certificate in February 2017. I can guide in the areas of Yamanashi, Nagano, and the Greater Tokyo Area and more depending on your interests. Yamanashi is located at the base of Mount Fuji, so it is easy to visit there. Great views of Mount Fuji and strolling in the nostalgic areas of an old town are available. And also, the snow monkey park is not very far. I will offer customized-private tours designed around your interests, and I will adapt the tours and make them flexible to fit your needs. Each tour will be enjoyable and memorable. However, the hardest part will be choosing which place and what you would like to explore. I am available for consultation should you need it. I was educated in Japan and the USA. I have a Ph.D. in Biology and I did my post-doc career in the US. I worked in the R&D and Quality Control departments in cosmetics companies and I was a laboratory manager for a vegetable seeds company in Japan. I was a research scientist in New Zealand for a short time. I planned the industry tours for foreign specialists and guided them to the corresponding enterprises. I grew Oriental vegetables for commercial purposes for a company in the UK. I was a rice cultivation assistant in Africa as a member of the Japanese Peace Corps. I visited Iran, Iraq, and Syria as a member of a goodwill mission organized by the government. After retirement, I have been a tour guide. I accompany guests on offshore trips from cruise ships. I can arrange walking tours in the Aogihara Forest area including lava caves like the Ice Cave and Wind Cave, and also strolling tours in the nostalgic town of Yamanashi. I have two websites guiding about Yamanashi and Mount Fuji areas.
