I was a research scientist in New Zealand for a short time. I planned the industry tours for foreign specialists and guided them to the corresponding enterprises. I grew Oriental vegetables for commercial purposes for a company in the UK. I was a rice cultivation assistant in Africa as a member of the Japanese Peace Corps. During an overnight bus trip from California to Las Vegas, I was mesmerized by the breathtaking sunrise changing the sky brighter and brighter. Travel is special because of the small, soul-stirring moments.
