Austria
Ingrid S.
I was born and raised in Vienna, however traveling, foreign countries and foreign languages have always been my passion. Therefore I studied languages, became a teacher for several years and finally made traveling my main occupation. After traveling in Europe for several years, I became a licensed tourist guide in Austria. I wanted to meet people from other countries in my hometown and show them its glorious past, wonderful pastry shops and tell them quirky details about members of the Imperial family. Vienna has a very obvious, beautiful side along the Ringstrasse, but also more hidden back streets, small alleys, courtyards and lots of less well-known stories. Vienna was once the capital city of a huge empire, nowadays it is the capital city of a small country. The glorious past is still visible, but there is also modern day Vienna that offers a good quality of life and many green spaces, especially in the old town. A large number of places worth seeing can be reached during a walking tour. Palaces, passion, art, music. . you name it and we will experience it together.

Dear Traveler, I am Tugba. I am very lucky to be living in Kusadasi. My beautiful town is one of the leading Ports for Cruises. Cruise guests are especially interested in making visits to the ancient city Ephesus. As for me, I love walking, reading books, and showing people what I find interesting and valuable in my country. This is a country whose history goes back thousands of years. There is never a shortage of seeing, visiting, and enjoying. I became a professional tour guide in 2010 and have been guiding ever since. Guiding is more than a profession for me, it is an art and a show. In time, I became an expert in making private Ephesus tours/shore excursions. I believe I can help you make your dream come true. Not only will we have an unforgettable experience in Ephesus but also we will get to know the local people, traditions, and cuisine. . Let's travel back in time and walk the streets of this ancient site together. . I will be delighted if I will have a chance to show you my country's best sides.

Hiromi O.
I'm a National Licensed Guide Interpreter with over five years of experience, having guided more than 1,000 guests from around the world. Based in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture, I offer tours that connect travelers with the rich nature, culture, and history of the region. Before becoming a guide, I worked at global investment banks in Tokyo, where I communicated daily in English with colleagues around the world. I later returned to my hometown to embrace a slower pace of life and reconnect with the natural beauty of this area. Yamagata is a wonderful destination for those who appreciate nature and rural charm. Tsuruoka and its surrounding area, nestled between the Sea of Japan and scenic mountain ranges, offer cultural experiences you won't find anywhere else. Highlights include visiting temples of Sokushinbutsu (self-mummified monks), climbing 2,446 stone steps to the summit of a sacred mountain, encountering the mystical world of jellyfish, enjoying a rich culinary heritage, exploring local crafts, and much more. I truly love my hometown and am passionate about helping visitors create unforgettable memories here. I look forward to meeting you and sharing the beauty and culture of Tsuruoka! <How to get Tsuruoka from Tokyo> By JR - Take the Joetsu Shinkansen from Tokyo to Niigata, then transfer to the Limited Express Inaho bound for Tsuruoka. The total journey takes about 4 hours from JR Tokyo Station. By bus - Overnight buses depart around 10 PM from Shinjuku and Shibuya in Tokyo, arriving in Tsuruoka around 6 AM. Please check the bus company’s website for details. By air - ANA operates direct flights between Haneda Airport and Shonai Airport approximately five times a day.

With a university degree in History, I worked all my life in the promotion of smart tourism, trying to unveil the magic that often cannot be discovered through mass tourism's overrun tracks. First based in Sicily, then in Berlin, now in Umbria, the green heart of Italy, the perfect mix of gorgeous nature, architecture and food experiences, I offer walking excursions as well as e-bike and Vespa motorbike tours. I try hard to grow people awareness that holiday and spare time, are all but marginal part of our Life, in fact being the most important part of life, where knowledge and pleasure create happiness and good memories.

Hello! I am Manuel, an experienced and professional tour guide with extensive knowledge of the historic city centre of Cambridge. My walking tours describe men and women whose ideas and actions have affected nearly every area of human endeavour. It is very likely that someone from your region or country is already in this city to either work or study. How can that be possible in a city of less than 150,000 people? Come to one of my tours and find out. I will ensure that, no matter your background or age, your visit to Cambridge is a memorable experience. I hope to see you soon!

Azul. That's how we greet in Berber. It is my mother tongue and Morocco's indigenous language. I was born and grown up in Sijilmassa, a Town with deep culture, history, authenticity, simplicity, heritage and huge tribal diversity. It is located at the large oasis of Tafilalet at the heart of Sahara desert, and the oldest trading and civilization zone in Morocco. I got my bachelor's degree from the University of Meknes “English department” but I also went to Shenzhen in China for Mandarin language classes. And I am also a holder of a national tour guide license officially from the ministry of Tourism officed in Rabat. I took the path of my ansisters almoravid dynasty who moves from the desert to found Marrakech. Marrakech is a vibrant home city that I love and appreciate very much. I love adventures and I am a kind of person who always has new plans and ideas. My happy times are those spent with family and friends. Welcome not only to be my guests but also to be part of friends and family Deeds always speak louder than words . . . . so I look forward to meeting you in person, and soon! I am very happy and excited to welcome you and introduce Marrakech from a very local perspective. Welcome! Asalamu Alaykum!

This is a land where we care about the others and our lifestyle is easy and relaxed. I am a New York City tour guide and have been doing bus tours for 14 years and walking tours for eight. I can easily do a standard tour on, say, Central Park, Greenwich Village, or the World Trade Center but I offer a general tour with many popular places in New York. I also have my own niche tour of "Titanic Sites in New York City". I like tour-guiding in the city because I am also a tourist and I like to feel the vicarious thrill of visitors. Being a tour-guide AND a tourist, I have traveled to Nova Scotia, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Anchorage, Cleveland, Niagara Falls, Washington DC, London, Liverpool, Belfast, Bangkok, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Nara, Shizuoka, Hiroshima, Miyajima Island, Mt. Kosaya, Mt. Fuji and many other places.

I am a licensed tourist guide of the Sardinia Region with many years of experience and I always love to present and to show my island. I think it is a very beautiful and interesting place and it really deserves to be visited. At the university, I've studied sociolinguistics but as I am a native Sardinian, all my studies were mostly connected to Sardinia, which has a very special cultural and linguistic situation. Anyhow, beside its interesting history, culture and languages, Sardinia has the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean, plus and extraordinary variety of landscapes. I've worked as tour guide more than 30 years, before just as part time activity during the summer and now as a full time work, and even after so many years, I always enjoy to take the people around this beautiful and extraordinary island.
