I am a licensed tourist guide of the Sardinia Region with many years of experience and I always love to present and to show my island. I think it is a very beautiful and interesting place and it really deserves to be visited. At the university, I've studied sociolinguistics but as I am a native Sardinian, all my studies were mostly connected to Sardinia, which has a very special cultural and linguistic situation. Anyhow, beside its interesting history, culture and languages, Sardinia has the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean, plus and extraordinary variety of landscapes. I've worked as tour guide more than 30 years, before just as part time activity during the summer and now as a full time work, and even after so many years, I always enjoy to take the people around this beautiful and extraordinary island.

Back in the early 80s, right after waving goodbye to school life, I went on a crazy adventure—hitchhiking solo around Australia for 14 months. It wasn't just about the sights and miles; it was about the people I met. Aussies are a generous bunch, they took me in like a lost cousin. I also hooked up with fellow travelers from every corner of the globe. Those months were like a masterclass in life, giving me a whole new perspective and opening up a world of experiences. Fast forward to today, and I'm not the hitchhiker anymore; I'm the one behind the wheel. No, not a taxi driver, but a private driver guide showing international visitors around the natural wonders of Australia. It's like life's way of saying, "Hey, time to give back!" :) Matt

Hello everyone, it's Tad! I was born in Osaka, raised up in Kobe, and came back to Osaka for my university and work. I studied clinical psychology in my university. I specialize in children who have developmental disorder such as Down's syndrome, autism, ADHD and I care for the left-behind children whose parents can’t look after them due to their work or private reasons. I used to help them with their homework as a student volunteer. When I was a university student, I went abroad to Australia for the first time in my life, which made me want to know outside world more. I went to see the outside world, which made me get to know the amazing aspects of my own country. I truly see the beauty of Japan and kindness of people. So that after the graduation of my university, I decided to move to Australia with working holiday visa for two years. In Australia, I bought a car and traveled whole around Australia doing labor work. During my time in Australia, I was surprised by the beauty of nature and how wide the world is, and I was helped and well treated by locals. Also I realized that Japan has a very unique and beautiful culture. That experience made me want to share Japanese culture and help you experience Japanese hospitality. I’d like to do my best to make your precious memories in Japan just like how local people in Australia treated me as a part of their family. After returning from Australia, I spent 3 months backpacking around 17 countries of Europe. To tell international guests about Japanese culture, history and hospitality, I became a rickshaw runner in Kyoto Arashiyama. That’s why I became an officially licensed English guide of Kyoto city and decided to live my life as a professional English guide. As I’ve lived in Kobe, Osaka and Kyoto, I’m good at guiding these cities and customizing private tours for FIT (foreign independent travel) guests. Especially I hold a cultural food walk tour which complies with any special dietary restrictions in Osaka’s night out spots. 【Career Summary】 Bilingual professional tourist guide of officially certificated by Kyoto city. Hello! I am Joji. Please call me Joji. Or Bonjoji, if it is easier for you to remember from the name of the famous Rockband BonJovi. I was born and raised in Kyoto untill 19 years old. But I have not paid attention to the fact that the city was an old capital of Japan. There was a small old temple near my house and I used it as nothing more than a good place to play "hide and seek" then. I studied English and graduated from University of South Carolina with Statistic major. During my work at a precision equipment company, I have lived in California and New Jersey in the states for 12 years. While I was in the States, I have been treated like a family by many local American people. So, it is a time that I treat you back well while you are traveling in Japan. (If you were not American, no worries and I would treat you same.) Now, I got old and developed an interest in the history and culture of Kyoto and Nara, having learned more about it through English National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter Test, UNESCO World Heritage Academy and Cultural Examination, Kyoto Tourism Examination, Nara Sommelier Examination and etc. Spending a couple of years, I have successfully passed all these examinations. My hobby is visiting old ruins in the world so that I have been to Vesa Merde in the States, Macchu Picchu in Peru, Easter Island in Chile, Volbilis in Morocco, Tikal in Guatemala, Angkor Wat in Cambodia and etc. When I go to unknown places, I normally hire a local guide. I think it is the most efficient and smartest way to learn the places. Now, it is a time that I share what I know about beautiful Kyoto and historical Nara, as a guide. The goal of my guiding is to make your journey more comfortable, enjoyable and unforgettable while you are in Japan. Please feel free to contact me and let's enjoy the tour together. Bonjoji

I have multiple jobs right now. One is a mediator and the other is an English teacher. After working for some life insurance company for about 40 years, I got a job for some Family Court as a mediator and I enjoy helping those who get in trouble. I also teach English for beginners, especially for TOEIC TEST. I love music. When I was in university student, I was a conductor for a male chorus. Since then I have been really into Opera. I don't mean to be pompous, but actually, I'm good at entertaining any guests at any occasion, as I had worked as head of sales, human resources, and branch manager. Almost a decade ago I had lived in Kyoto for 5 years and I have been enthralied by charm and attraction of Kyoto, such as history, culture, cuisine and beauty:as in cherry blossom in Spring, colorful leaves in Autumn and GION festival and so on. I'd like to share my experiences with everyone and guide all of you to Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe.

Luke P.
I am a tour guide, historian, and conservationist in Washington D.C. I have been fascinated by American history and biography for my entire adult life. As a guide, I weave together stories of the American experience, how it shapes who we are today, and what it means for our own civic duties as Americans. I've been a licensed guide for seven years. I give walking tours around the National Mall and Tidal Basin, the White House area, Capitol Hill, DuPont Circle, Arlington National Cemetery, and Georgetown. My favorite ones are the Cherry Peak Bloom Tour on the Tidal Basin, the Presidents and Cabinets Tour around the White House, and the Lives of the Roosevelts Tour in DuPont Circle. I do hybrid walking/driving tours for those interested in seeing multiple areas of DC in a single day. Additionally, I do conservation-focused tours in rich and under-appreciated natural areas around DC like Rock Creek Park and Theodore Roosevelt Island. I have done many tours for family and friend groups, as well as corporate and nonprofit groups. My specialty is young professional and student groups, especially those in programs oriented toward public service. I manage the historical site tours program for Journey Through Hallowed Ground National Heritage Area. Beyond guiding, I have spent many years in DC working for nonprofits doing civil discourse and civic work, and advocacy groups and think tanks in various areas of public policy. I am a political writer, and have facilitated many workshops, panels, podcasts, and debates on subjects ranging from policy to history to political ethics. I portray Alexander Hamilton as a historical reenactor, and do outdoor guiding work. I host a conservation podcast called "Match My Mountains." Beyond DC, I volunteer at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. I studied International Relations at the University of Southern California, where I performed for several years in the Trojan Marching Band.

Christopher L.
Hi there, my name is Chris, and I bring over 30 years of cycling experience to every tour I lead. My background spans coaching riders of all levels, owning and operating a bicycle shop, and working extensively as a professional bicycle mechanic. I have years of hands-on experience that means I understand not only how to ride, but how to keep riders safe, comfortable, and confident on the road. For the past 21 years, I’ve called this area my home. During that time, I’ve explored its roads, coastlines, vineyards, and hidden back routes countless times on my own bike, simply because I love riding here. As a licensed travel guide, I’ve combined that personal passion with professional training to create thoughtfully designed tours that showcase the very best of this remarkable region. I also maintain strong relationships with local wineries, restaurants, and accommodations, which allows me to offer guests unique, welcoming, and well-curated experiences beyond the ride itself. Whether it’s a quiet tasting room, a memorable meal, or a comfortable place to rest after a day in the saddle, I can help connect you with some of the finest the Central Coast has to offer. This isn’t just a place where I work—it’s my home. Every route I share is one I’ve ridden, refined, and truly enjoyed. My goal is simple: to give you an authentic, unforgettable cycling experience that blends great riding, local flavor, and the natural beauty of the Central Coast. I look forward to sharing the roads I love with you. -Chris
