Charley S.
Konnichiwa - - - Charley here. Originally, I grew up in Los Angeles and San Diego for the first quarter century of my life. In 2000, I moved to Aichi Prefecture, Japan. One of my main goals was to play music with Japanese musicians, particularly in the underground music scene, which I've been a part of throughout my life. Also, I wanted to enjoy and explore the beauty of living in a foreign country. I've been living here for 25 years, and can gladly say that I have been engaged thoroughly in both of those goals. Since the beginning of moving to Japan, I've always chosen to hang out and engage with Japanese people as opposed to other foreigners. I often find myself in izakaiyas and concert events where I am the only foreigner, but fortunately I am on good terms with the staff and other customers. So if you are looking to see the less touristy aspects of Japan, please feel free to get in touch with me and I would love to share what I have come to appreciate about Japan. Cheers !

Jacob L.
My name is Jacob, and I've been exploring Colorado since 2007, when I moved here for my first engineering job. Right away, I began hiking the beautiful Rocky Mountain peaks, then climbing the cliffs, and learning to camp in the backcountry, but what I loved the most was exploring on my bicycle. I loved it so much that I eventually quit my job to simply ride my bike as far as I could go. Three years later, I returned to Colorado having pedaled 38,000 miles and circled the earth twice. My route traced from Portugal to China, Alaska to Argentina, then across New Zealand, Australia, and Africa. While I was out there, I learned to exist in nature, to be confident in handling any situation, and to always find beauty in my surroundings. This is the experience I bring to my tours. I pride myself in finding the most scenic places to visit, that both highlights the natural beauty of Colorado, as well as captures the local charm of the people who live here.

Barney N.
Hi, I'm Barney. I have 14 years of experience guiding guests around Scotland, taking day tours out of Edinburgh. Whether I take people on scenic tours, or to historical sites like castles, or whisky tasting, I'm reminded every day that I really do have the best job in the world, in my favourite country in the world, and I'd like to share that with you. I was born in Edinburgh, and graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2008 with a history degree, so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to Scottish history. But I also consider myself a storyteller, and my main job is to entertain you, so please don't feel that you're going to get dry lectures on history and culture. You don't need to remember a single thing I tell you, so long as you enjoy yourself. Also, please don't feel constrained by the standard tours I offer. I have many years of guiding experience, so if there's something you want to see that's not listed, just send me a message through Go With Guide and ask me to create a personalised itinerary just for you, which I'm always happy to do. Professional Qualifications/Memberships: - MA (Hons) History from University of Edinburgh - PGDE(S) from University of Strathclyde - Membership of SITOA (Scottish Independent Tour Operators Association)

Jun M.
Hello! I'm Jun, your adventure travel guide. My fascination with the nature of Kyushu began when I was a child and my parents took me to the beautiful Aso mountains and their vast green grasslands. That view remains my starting point to this day. Having been born and raised in Kyushu and having studied its nature, history, and culture, I will guide you to the "real Kyushu" that you won't find in guidebooks. From the majestic volcanic landscapes of Aso to the mystical gorges of Takachiho and the hot spring–rich lands of Beppu, Kyushu is alive with breathtaking natural wonders around every corner. It's the history and culture of the people who have lived alongside this nature that make this place truly special. My tours offer more than just scenic views. Through interactions with locals, experiences of traditional food culture, and activities in nature, I deliver journeys where you can experience Kyushu with your whole being. Only by learning how the land was formed, hearing from the people who live here, and setting foot on the land yourself will you have a truly memorable experience. Over the past several years, I have gained experience leading mountain hiking and rural walking tours as a registered outdoor guide of Oita. I have completed Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA) training. Come discover Kyushu's charm with me and create a memory that will stay with you forever!

Gary S.
As an inbound tour guide and outbound tour leader, I have had the honor of serving guests from over 56 countries. I specialize in both private tours and bus higaeri (one-day) tours for Japanese local tourism services. I am also proud to be a 5-star-reviewed tour guide on other platforms. I speak Japanese, English, Mandarin, and Cantonese—skills I developed during my long-term career as a project manager in international joint ventures requiring multilingual and cross-cultural communication. This enables me to interact smoothly with tourists from regions such as Taiwan, Hong Kong (SAR), and mainland China, as long as we share a common language like English. In addition, I’m currently studying French, Spanish, Italian, and German to deepen my understanding of diverse cultures and enhance the experience I provide. I believe in the importance of omoiyari—the Japanese concept of empathy and consideration—an essential trait cultivated through personal growth, social experience, and professional challenges. I always strive to stand in my guests' shoes and provide thoughtful, personalized service. I also bring a sense of humor and optimism to my work, guided by a strong belief in the power of trust, shaped by my interest in Buddhism, Shintoism, and Protestant Christianity. In August 2024, I joined my first Heiro tour led by Japanese trainers, a couple who became certified Heiro masters after completing the practice 11 times. This experience enriched both my spiritual perspective and cultural understanding.

Casa D.
Greetings travelers, welcome onboard. I'm a certified young and passionate outdoor enthusiast who had been sponsored and fostered by a kind-hearted Dutch man from the Netherlands. I was still a teenager when I was taken to the capital city, Addis Ababa alongside my little brother to receive a better education. I'm originally from a small town in the omo valley called Keyafer. on that blessed day I was running after other tourists to sell small souvenirs when I was called by an English-speaking local guide from the area standing with my little brother and a tall descent looking white man in In front of a hotel room. At first, I was hesitant but then I slowly approached them. What followed after was an astonishing history. But here I'm, finished high school, went to a vocational training college to earn a diploma. where I attended special courses for tour service, tour guiding, tour operation, and management I then followed it with a Bachelor’s degree at a university to major in the field of Tourism and hotel management. I'm a responsible, caring, and friendly young man who takes his profession seriously and works hard to give his clients a memorable tour service worthy of their money. I also presume having lived with a Westerner smoothens my relationship with my clients and gives me the bragging right of understanding various cultures and backgrounds of my clients.
