Merlion is the national icon of Singapore, Sir Stamford Raffles is the founder of modern Singapore and Singapore river used to be busy port, the center of trade, finance and commerce.
Along the river side, you could see old government building preserved, converted to Asian Civilisations Museum, Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall, etc.….
Cavenage Bridge is Singapore oldest bridge built in 1869 still in original form, first suspension bridge made of steel.
