Teh Tarik @ Sarbat
As a finale, experience being a 'local' and enjoy a nice cup of our local teh tarik (black tea with condensed milk). Teh tarik is quintessential part of our Singapore heritage. Teh tarik sessions have always been a time for locals to meet up and unwind with friends or family, after a long day's work.
Be a local and pair your teh tarik drink with a local sweet or savoury snack. You could pair up your teh tarik with a piece of curry puff; a savoury puff pastry that is crisp and flaky on the outside, with a tinge of buttery deliciousness to it. It is typically filled with either a meaty filling of spiced mutton and potatoes, finished with a sprinkle of flavorful herbs and spices. For vegetarians, you could have the spiced potato filling instead.
You could enjoy such a chillaxing session whilst having a nice conversation with your tour guide (ME) as the tour comes to a satisfaction ending.
