Meeting Point
Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station (NS24/NE6/CC1) Exit A
- We will meet at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station and will start the tour from there after introductions and briefing. - OR Hotel Lobby [Alternatively we can meet at the lobby of your hotel / accommodation and make our way to the next stop as accordingly]
The Cathay Building / School of the Arts
We will stop outside The Cathay Building, previous home to Cathay Cinema and once, one of the tallest skyscapers in Singapore. Learn more about cinema and arts in Singapore, and the dark history behind Cathay Building. You will also get to see School of the Arts and learn more about the importance of the arts in Singapore
National Museum of Singapore / Singapore Management University
You will get to see the National Museum of Singapore from the compound of the Singapore Management University. Learn more about the history of the Victorian-style building and its significance in Singapore's history.
Within the compound, you can also see the old St Joseph's Institution and Cathedral of the Good Shepard and learn about the significance of religion and education institution in the area.
Peranakan Museum (Armenian Street)
Walk through the compound of Singapore's first Botanic Garden before the current and learn about the Peranakan Museum and other ethnic groups in Singapore. You will also get to see buildings of previous education institutions and art spaces in the area.
St Andrew's Cathedral (Coleman Street)
Walk along Coleman Street and discover more about the area, including the uniqueness of foreign enclaves in Singapore.
We will also stop to see St Andrews's Cathedral and find out more about its significance and presence in Singapore
National Gallery Singapore / Padang
We will stop outside of National Gallery Singapore to see the uniqueness of the building and learn more about the significant events that occurred at the area surrounding National Gallery Singapore and the Padang, past and present.
Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall
Learn more about the past and present history of Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall and its significance to the arts and history of SIngapore. We will also get to go across Anderson Bridge and see Coleman Bridge from a distance.
Merlion / Marina Bay Area
See the Merlion upclose and discover its interesting history and how it became to be a significant symbol of Singapore. Do also take the time to snap some pictures of the Merlio and the area surrounding it! Truly a sight not to be missed!
Esplanade Theatres on the Bay
We will stop at Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, a performing arts centre catering to world class arts of varying kinds, including performing and visual arts. Discover the secrets of the theatre and have an overview of the Marina Bay from the rooftop of Esplanade.

1. This walking tour will take approximately 2.5-3 hours. Please wear light and with comfortable walking shoes, as there will be quite a bit of walking. We will have breaks in between. Access to the toilet may or may not be limited based on location, so you might like to consider using the toilet before the start of the tour.
2. Please bring water as it will be rather hot and humid. (You definitely need to keep hydrated)
3. This is a rain or shine event. We would do our best to accompany to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our guests. Itinerary might change, should there be unfavourable weather. We will recommend you to bring an umbrella or poncho in case.
4. We encourage you to take photos and videos during the tour. Your photos and videos might be taken during the tour itself. Should you not wish to have your photo or video taken, please inform us before the tour.

Born and bred in Singapore, Ron graduated with a Bachelors of Art (Hons) Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from International Hotel Management Institute (accredited by Manchester Metropolitan University) and has over 12 years of experience in customer service and arts events management.
Ron’s interests include reading, swimming, the arts, travelling, music and meeting new people. Ron is extremely keen in people and culture and would love to meet different people from different backgrounds.
