Meeting Point
Maxwell MRT Station (TE18) Exit 1
- We will meet at Maxwell MRT Station and make our way to the Singapore City Gallery at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) Building. [Alternatively we can meet at the lobby of your hotel / accommodation and make our way to the next stop as accordingly]
Singapore City Gallery (Urban Redevelopment Authority Building)
Our first stop is the Singapore City Gallery. You will get to understand the role of the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) in the context of the develeopment and urbanisation of Singapore.

Ann Siang Hill
We will exit the URA Building and make our way to Ann Siang Hill, where you will get to understand the history of Ann Siang Hill and the different shophouses surrounding it.
We will also get to see murals depicting the past and present of livelihood of Singaporeans.
Thian Hock Keng Temple
We will visit Thian Hock Keng Temple and understand the beginnings of early immigrants in Singapore and how religion plays a part in the preservation of cultural and heritage sites in general.
Lau Pa Sat (former Telok Ayer Market)
We will make our way to Lau Pa Sat, the former Telok Ayer Market, and understand the food culture of Singapore and the history that goes behind Lau Pa Sat and what it stands for, amidst being surrounded by skyscapers and being in the midst of the Central Business District area.
Former Clifford Pier / Collyer Quay
We will walk down towards Collyer Quay and visit the former Clifford Pier and understand the history and significance of the pier and the development that happened within the Marina Bay area through the years.
Fullerton Hotel / Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall
We will visit the Fullerton Hotel, the former General Post Office, and see how it was important in the development of the city and how it has evolved.
We will also get to see the Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall and learn about the interesting history behind its architecture.
Merlion / Marina Bay
See the Merlion upclose and discover its interesting history and how it became a significant symbol of Singapore. Do also take the time to snap some pictures of the Merlion and the area surrounding it! Truly a sight not to be missed!
Esplanade Theatres on the Bay
We will stop at Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, a performing arts centre catering to world class arts of varying kinds, including performing and visual arts. Discover the secrets of the theatre and have an overview of the Marina Bay from the rooftop of Esplanade.

1. This walking tour will take approximately 2.5-3 hours. Please wear light and with comfortable walking shoes, as there will be quite a bit of walking. We will have breaks in between. Access to the toilet may or may not be limited based on location, so you might like to consider using the toilet before the start of the tour.
2. Please bring water as it will be rather hot and humid. (You definitely need to keep hydrated)
3. This is a rain or shine event. We would do our best to accompany to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our guests. Itinerary might change, should there be unfavourable weather. We will recommend you to bring an umbrella or poncho in case.

Born and bred in Singapore, Ron graduated with a Bachelors of Art (Hons) Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from International Hotel Management Institute (accredited by Manchester Metropolitan University) and has over 12 years of experience in customer service and arts events management.
