DAY 1 : Pick-up in Stellenbosch

Start your tour in Stellenbosch, famous for its vineyards, mountains and Cape Dutch charm.

DAY 1 : 07:00–08:25 — Drive to Hermanus (1h25)

Beautiful early-morning scenery with mountain passes and valley views.

DAY 1 : 08:25–09:00 — Coffee stop in Hermanus (35 min)

Hermanus is world-famous for whale watching and spectacular cliff-side ocean views.

DAY 1 : 09:00–10:50 — Drive Hermanus to Cape Agulhas (1h50)

Enjoy the peaceful Overberg region: rolling farmlands and small historic towns.

DAY 1 : 10:50–12:20 — Cape Agulhas visit (1h30)

Highlights:

Southernmost tip of Africa.

Indian & Atlantic Ocean meeting point.

Agulhas Lighthouse (historic and still operating).

Shipwreck stories and powerful ocean currents.

Iconic photo stop at the marker.

DAY 1 : 12:20–13:10 — Lunch in Agulhas/Struisbaai (50 min)

Struisbaai offers some of the freshest seafood and one of the longest natural beaches in the Southern Hemisphere.

DAY 1 : 13:10–16:00 — Drive to Garden Route Game Lodge (2h50)

Scenic countryside drive with one optional comfort stop.

DAY 1 : 16:00–16:20 — Check-in & settle in (20 min)

Get comfortable and prepare for your first safari experience.

DAY 1 : 17:00–19:00 — Sunset Safari (2 hours)

Dinner at GRGL

You’ll dine at Serengeti’s Restaurant, overlooking the reserve. Expect hearty South African dishes, game meat options, great wines, and a cozy bush atmosphere. You can choose between the main restaurant, outdoor boma dinners under the stars, or the pool terrace for a more relaxed setting. Dietary needs are accommodated, and the setting is one of the highlights of the stay.

Great for spotting active wildlife before the heat of the day. Excellent for photography.
