Meeting Point

Bandaranaike International Airport Colombo

- We offer pickup from Colombo International Airport on arrival, or from Colombo and nearby areas if you’re already staying there.

Day 1 – Arrival in Sri Lanka & Colombo Visit

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) and transfer to Colombo. In the evening, enjoy a city tour with highlights including Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, Red Mosque, Pettah Market, Sultan Palace Restaurant, Spa Ceylon, and Laksala. End the day with an overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 2 – Colombo to Anuradhapura

Depart early at 6 AM for Anuradhapura. In the afternoon, explore the Atamasthana, the eight sacred Buddhist sites of the city. End the day with an overnight stay in Anuradhapura.

Day 3 – Anuradhapura Exploration

Visit Mihintale, Isurumuniya Rock Temple, Kuttam Pokuna (Twin Ponds), and Nellikulama Temple. End the day with an overnight stay in Anuradhapura.

Day 4 – Explore Polonnaruwa & Transfer to Sigiriya

Discover Polonnaruwa’s treasures including the Ancient Royal Palace, Gal Vihara, Vatadage, Thivanka Image House, Lankathilaka Temple, King Parakramabahu Statue, and Parakrama Samudraya Lake. Continue to Sigiriya. End the day with an overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 5 – Sigiriya & Dambulla to Kandy

Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the morning. Enjoy a local village experience with an authentic lunch and paddle boat ride. Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple before driving to Kandy. End the day with an overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 6 – Kandy City Tour

Explore Kandy’s cultural landmarks: Nelligala Temple, Geragama Tea Factory, Royal Botanical Gardens Peradeniya, Bahirawakanda Temple, the Temple of the Tooth Relic, Kandy Viewpoint, and a Kandyan Cultural Dance Show. End the day with an overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 7 – Kandy to Ella by Scenic Train

Travel from Kandy to Nanu Oya, stopping at Ambuluwawa Tower and Damro Tea Factory along the way. Board one of the world’s most scenic train rides from Nanu Oya to Ella. Enjoy a complimentary food tasting. End the day with an overnight stay in Ella.

Day 8 – Ella Highlights

Visit Lipton’s Seat in the morning, followed by the iconic Nine Arches Bridge. In the evening, experience a peaceful sunset at Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery. End the day with an overnight stay in Ella.

Day 9 – Drive to Galle (Optional Yala Safari)

Drive from Ella to Galle, with the option of a safari in Yala National Park en route. In the evening, explore Galle Fort and the lighthouse while enjoying the sunset. End the day with an overnight stay in Galle.

Day 10 – Traditional Masks & Cinnamon Village

Visit the Ambalangoda Traditional Masks Workshop and Museum to learn the art of mask-making. Then explore a Cinnamon Village to see traditional cinnamon production. End the day with an overnight stay in Galle.

Day 11 – Departure to Airport

Drive back to Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) for your departure, carrying unforgettable memories of your Sri Lanka Triangle Tour.
