Hi my name is Daniela and I live in Naples, one of the most lively and original cities of the south Italy. The first thing that I love about Naples is the smell, wherever you are, even in the most hidden streets of the city, you can smell pizza and fish frying in someone’s kitchen. Every tourist should visit Partenope street, named after the famous mermaid found on the gulf of the city, where you can drink a glass of wine while watching the sun fading away behind the Vesuvius. Every tourist should visit the two sides of the city: the monumental part and the historic centre. Famous only for the Neapolitan people, is the ‘via dei presepi’, San Gregorio Armeno, a hidden street in the center of the city, which offers a showcase of all the local crafts concerning the nativity scene.
