Ciao everyone, I started as tour guide 6 years ago, almost out of fun, out of curiosity. Contact with people has always been important for me and being born in Naples, that came very simple, almost mandatory. My city is full of history and traditions, of delicious things like pizza and "coffee suspended", because no one in Naples has to feel so poor that can not afford a coffee. A city suspended between the paradise of the sea and the flames of Vesuvius, one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world but from which you can enjoy one of the most striking views of the Gulf of Naples. And this volcano has given rise to what is still one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, Pompeii. Rich is the history as are the landscapes, as those breathtaking of the Amalfi Coast. The most beautiful part is to recognize the wonder in the eyes of the visit for the first time. The same wonder that I had felt and that I still feel today. This is the goal: give you the best experience showing all the beauties of this area. Hi to everyone, I'm Paolo. I'm an archaelogist and I have been working as tourist guide (license n° 1792 of the Campania Region) for several years . I was born in in the middle of the bay of Naples, by the mount Vesuvius. I have always loved history and archaeology, also because, where I live, there are the incredible excavations of Herculaneum. Since I was a child, I loved entering in Herculaneum and in Pompeii where I was amazed by the classical civilization. So I turned my passion into my work, being a licensed tourist guide. I graduated at the "L'Orientale" University in Naples obtaining a master's degree in Classical Archaeology and during my training I participated in several excavation campaigns in Pompeii and Cuma. I know very well even the city of Naples, where its historical center is Unesco Heritage, the bay of Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast: Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. It's a unique place in the world where you can breathe a magical air. It's also famous for its food, just think that the pizza Margherita was born here. I love my land rich of history and culture. “Maria provided a great tour!”
I was a bit hesitant to hire Maria from the US without knowing anything about her or the company. However, there was no reason for me to worry. Maria was an amazing guide! Communicated well before the date of the tour. She speaks good english (as well as other languages). She also arranged comfortable transportation. It is evident that she cares about providing a great tour. She is flexible to adapt the tour to what makes it best for you. She's imparts her knowledge of the area, and takes you to places you would not do on your own. I can't say enough good things about Maria. Get the most out of your trip and hire Maria, I do not think you will be disappointed.

“Connecting Several Generations of a Family ”
Maria was kind, funny, experienced and a very knowledgeable guide! She took a lot of time planning this tour. She researched and found relatives I haven’t seen in over 40 years and translated conversations with my family since I only speak English and they only speak Italian. Maria spent the whole day with us showing me where my parents used to live in Cantaloupo and Castelpetroso. These are very small towns in the mountains. We had one person in our group who had a food allergy and she found an excellent restaurant that was very accommodating! I would highly recommend Maria as a tour guide!
