JEBEL AKHDAR - Oman
Akhdar means Green in Arabic and by driving up the mountain with fruit and vegetable gardens on the man-made terraces built on the side of the mountain, Nizwa is a former capital of the Sultanate and the birthplace of Islam in Oman. Its traditions are deep and will be felt during a visit to the old market where Omani handicrafts, sweets and spices are sold among many other items. It is particularly famous for its Friday cattle market with lively goat auction.
MUSCAT CITY TOUR

One of the biggest and most beautiful wadis in Oman. Here you can explore the canyon and enjoy swimming in turquoise water pools surrounded by boulders and steep cliffs. Visit a local Bedouin house for a cup of Arabic coffee with dates and get a feel for a nomadic lifestyle.
AL HAMRA & JEBEL SHAMS - Oman
Visit ancient village and Bait Al Safa living history museum where locals demonstrate old Omani traditions in a restored 400 year old mud-brick house. You will be encouraged to take a photo dressed in national costumes. A walk in a picturesque old mountain oasis with banana groves and garden terraces. It is possible to find famous Omani mountain honey here in one of local shops. Take a ride on an electric train into the depths of the stunning cave to explore 2 million year-old stalactite.
