About Tour Guide Joanna C.
Hello!
I'm Joanna, I was born and raised in Poland but since 2004 I have lived in Florence. I'm a tour guide in this stunning city but also in Siena, Pisa and San Gimignano.
I would like to offer you some tours "off the beaten path" to enjoy and discover Florence differently. I'm especially passionate about symbols, hidden meanings and dark stories. I quite enjoy working with older kids, let's say from 8 years old. They have always some difficult questions for me...
In my free time, I love hiking, visiting new places and writing on my blog about Tuscany.
I speak English, French, Italian, and obviously Polish.

Important
I can guide you also in Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano, Lucca and in Chianti or organise the wine tastings but you have to have your car or to hire one.

Maybe it's your first time in Florence and you will like to discover the best of it, highlights and most visited places but also local spots, hidden places, local food and a lot of fun facts? This tour is for you! We will have a full day visit with a break for a lunch in the local trattoria.
Florence with kids - private tour
I have planned a half day tour in Florence, kids oriented with a lot of curiosities, games, questions and funny facts. We will obviously visit the Florentine highlights like Piazza del Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio etc but I will talk more about details, mythological and biblical histories and things that keep your children's attention high. We can finish the tour with an ice-cream.
Panoramic and local Florence private tour
During this tour you will explore the less visited part of the city: Oltrarno and you will admire the most panoramic views in the town. You will know more about local food, traditions, street art and you will have the unique occasion to visit one of the oldest churches and pharmacies in Florence, San Miniato al Monte.

Best of Florence - half day walking tour
This Florence walking tour will give you an introduction to Florentine city, considered one of Italy’s most beautiful treasures. My three-hour tour takes you to some of the most outstanding monuments in the city centre of Florence with a lot of curiosities and funny stories. We will visit most places from outside, maybe entering some church, courtyard or loggia. I would like to give you the introduction to the history of the city, to the renaissance, the Medici family and the main artists.
