About Tour Guide Niko Z.

I've been working as a licensed professional tour guide for more than 17 years. Equally happy to work both in English as well as in Norwegian.

I am very passionate about history and art and find it immensely rewarding to work with interesting people from all over the world. The awareness that I contribute to someone's enjoyement and happeness makes me glad.

I like to think of those who follow my guided tours as inquisitive travelers.

My tours are mostly in Split – Dalmatia county, which means Split with surroundings places like Trogir, Makarska, the islands of Brac, and Hvar. I am also licenced for guiding in Dubrovnik and surroundings places.

The story of Split is already 17 centuries old, dating to the time the Roman Emperor Diocletian decided to build his Palace where he wanted to spend the last years of his life. The city has a cosmopolitan character and has just the right balance of tradition and modernity. On the tour we will walk through the Old Town of Split for approx. a 2-hour sightseeing.
