About Tour Guide Nina R.
Hi, I am Nina. My guiding career begins from Lapland from 1995, where I made my first tours for example at the touristic icebreaker Sampo.
Since 1996 I have lived in Helsinki. Before I become Helsinki Guide 2003, I guided also in the Parliament House, Helsinki Museum of Art (HAM) and Museum of the Cultures. Since 2003 as Helsinki authorized guide I have made all kind of tours by bus, taxi, bike, boat, tram and of course by walking in Helsinki, Espoo and the surroundings like Porvoo, and Tuusulanjärvi.
I have also specialised to guide groups of children.
As a tour leader I have worked in Finland and taken groups by train to St.Petersburg, Russia. I was also as a tour leader in China 2005-2008.
I love languages and different cultures and speak also Swedish, Russian and Chinese as well German and a bit Spanish. I am interested in history, design and architecture--hope you are too!
My special interest is Helsinki city walking tours with sustainable features, so among the stories and facts about Helsinki and Finland, I will tell you what kind of things we do here in Helsinki and Finland for the sustainability.

Welcome to my short bio! Finland is the country that is now my home and inspiration. Over the past decade I have had the privilege of sharing history and culture of this country with hundreds of visitors from all over the world. I moved to Finland in 2010, graduated from Helsinki University, enjoyed a year in Germany and understood that Finland with its granite and infinite sea is the happiest country in the world for a reason. I specialize in Helsinki and Porvoo and it would be my pleasure to show you the most significant and beautiful places of this capital region! As a local I have tips and ideas from grilling to gardens and museums! Write a message and let's make your time in Helsinki memorable and to your taste.

Sergio C.
My name is Sergio, and history has always been my greatest passion. Originally from abroad, I moved to Finland in 2008 to pursue my degree in engineering. What began as a study adventure soon became a life-changing commitment—I chose to stay and build my life in this tough yet inspiring country, surrounded by stories of Vikings, merchants, kings, and nations in transformation. Over the years, I’ve combined my research in Finnish history with a natural love of storytelling, creating tours that are both informative and engaging. Whether you’re visiting Finland for a day or exploring for longer, my goal is to make the country’s past come alive for you in memorable, authentic experiences. Join me, and let’s walk through history together—where every street has a story, and every landmark reveals a piece of Finland’s heritage.
