Hello, my name is Maher, I would be delighted to be your tour guide during your visit to Aswan. I'm a certified and licensed tour guide, also a Nubian scholar. I have published two books about Nubian proverbs in Arabic language, and English, as well as many articles. Also I have three other books on the way to print.

Besides my passion for my culture (Nubian) and my city Aswan, I'm a short story writer and poet. I love to travel, interact with other cultures, meeting people from different countries.

I will be available 24\7 to support you with any part of your trip: from the basics of getting around the city, to discover treasures such as sailing up and down the stream of the legendary Nile, visiting Philae temple, unfinished obelisk, the tomb of the nobles, St. Simon monastery and finding great places to eat. And this is not all, I also operate guided trips to Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Abu Simbel, Nile cruises, cultural tours.

I can tailor the tours to suit your needs and interests. I'm licensed to do tours all over Egypt, in Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan, Desert Safari and The Nile cruise ships between Luxor and Aswan. I do private tours to places that are not in the regular tourist map to give you a unique experience.
