We booked the transfer by bus from Aomori cruise terminal to Hakkoda ropeway, Towada lake and Oirase stream for 26 people. Our ship arrived two hours later, but the driver waited for us. Unfortunately, due to the strong wind, the ropeway to the mountains was closed, and boats did not go around the lake, but we spent our time walking along the lake, visiting the old temple in the forest, walking along the Oirase River with picturesque waterfalls. Great driver! Thank you!

It was great! The Taxi was punctual, clean and the driver was friendly. He didn’t speak English but he did have a translating App on his phone and gave us a map of the Castle and surrounding grounds when we hopped on the Taxi.
