About Tour Guide Happy D.

Hi! My name is Happy (for real!). I'm a native EFL speaker, interpreter & teacher and currently working towards my degree: “Official Tour Guide for the City of Buenos Aires” sponsored by the Government of Buenos Aires. I decided to become a Tour Guide out of my love for the city and my love of showing folks around and discussing Argentinian identity, history, architecture and just fun BA facts and gossip!

My love story with Buenos Aires began in 2015, when I visited for the first time. Its ecclectic architectural beauty captured my heart. Then the culture: 189 museums in the city, or Corrientes, a street with more theaters than Broadway! The porteños with their friendliness, their gestures, their wonderful accent. This all made me return time and time again, every single year, until 2021, when my dream of moving here became a reality.

I'm also a coffee connoisseur, a published author and someone who just wants you to experience Buenos Aires through my eyes. We'll have fun!
