Born and raised in Buenos Aires, working as a tour guide has allowed me to rediscover this city and my love for it. As an English-Spanish translator and constant language student (fluent in French and doing my best to learn German), I spend a good part of my life building bridges between cultures. And that is the spirit behind my tours, creating bonds between visitors and local life. I appreciate and enjoy sharing the wide range of possibilities this city offers, from the loud crowds in a football stadium or a rock concert to quietly riding a bike or walking along the streets seeing life through a camera lens. I'm a native EFL speaker, interpreter & teacher and currently working towards my degree: “Official Tour Guide for the City of Buenos Aires” sponsored by the Government of Buenos Aires. I decided to become a Tour Guide out of my love for the city and my love of showing folks around and discussing Argentinian identity, history, architecture and just fun BA facts and gossip! My love story with Buenos Aires began in 2015, when I visited for the first time. Its ecclectic architectural beauty captured my heart. Then the culture: 189 museums in the city, or Corrientes, a street with more theaters than Broadway! The porteños with their friendliness, their gestures, their wonderful accent. This all made me return time and time again, every single year, until 2021, when my dream of moving here became a reality. “2 guided tours with Paola”
We booked the Off the Beaten Track and the Tigre Delta tours with Paola and my friend and I would totally recommend her. The tours were private and Paola made the experience very special from the time she picked us up with her car at our hotel to the time she dropped us off at the end of each tour. We learned a lot about Buenos Aires not only about the colourful history but also details about some sites which one won’t find anywhere because some places she showed us have personal connections to her. She answered all our questions and made sure we were close to her especially when we get into crowded situations. We consider ourselves lucky to have a new perspective of Buenos Aires open up through Paola’s knowledge of the area.

“Great day in Buenos Aires”
We had a great day in Buenos Aires, exploring the different districts. Nico's local knowledge was invaluable, and using public transport saved time compared to battling the busy roads in a car. After walking in Recolta, and visiting the amazing cemetery, we moved on to San Telmo. Later in the afternoon, after lunch, we explored the coloureful streets in La Boca. A great trip!
