“"An Enriching and Memorable Tour of Buenos Aires with Paola"”
We had an absolutely fantastic time with Paola and her vibrant city tour of Buenos Aires! She arrived promptly at our Airbnb, ready to whisk us away on an adventure through the city's most captivating spots. Her deep historical knowledge and fascinating local insights truly brought the city to life for us. After exploring several landmarks, we enjoyed lunch at a restaurant in the colorful, bustling Boca area. While a less touristy spot might have been fun, the food was undeniably delicious. From there, Paola guided us through the harbor area, then on to the lively neighborhood of Palermo, before ending the tour with a memorable visit to the iconic Recoleta Cemetery. It was an incredible day filled with discovery and lasting impressions!

“A tour guide extraordinaire ”
Paola is easy-going, approachable and so knowledgeable. The best part about our experience was that her pace and delivery worked magic to keep our girls, 10 and 12 years old, engaged and curious to learn more. Paola weaved in some cultural experiences and made reservations for us to enjoy mate, empanadas and alfajores. We also had most insightful conversations about the current state of the country. And one more important thing to note, Paola’s driving skills are impressive. She kept the stories flowing while maneuvering through traffic. With her help we’ve fallen in love with the people of Buenos Aires, the city’s history and culture.

Yes! If you’re looking for fresh experiences, history and a lot of relaxation, Buenos Aires is a worthwhile destination due to its vibrant culture, rich history, delicious cuisine, and captivating architecture. Visitors often find its blend of European charm and Latin American flair to be truly unique and memorable. They don’t call it the “Paris of South America” for no reason.
Yes, very much so. Buenos Aires is highlighted as a highly walkable city, especially in neighborhoods like Palermo, Recoleta, and San Telmo. Its grid-like layout, wide sidewalks, and numerous parks make it convenient and enjoyable for pedestrians to explore.
The U.S. Department of State's travel advisory for Argentina mentions that while certain precautions should be taken, many neighborhoods in Buenos Aires are generally safe for pedestrians at night, particularly in well-lit and busy areas. However, it's advisable to stay aware of your surroundings and use common sense, as you would in any major city.
Buenos Aires' fame comes from its tango music and dance, as well as its distinct architectural styles, including French, Italian, and Spanish influences. Additionally, its role as a cultural hub in Latin America, renowned cuisine, and passionate soccer culture contribute to its global renown.
The Argentinian Government indicates that tap water in Buenos Aires is generally safe for drinking. The water quality standards in the city meet international norms. However, some travelers may prefer to drink bottled water for peace of mind, especially if they have sensitive stomachs or are unfamiliar with the local water sources.
