Hello, I'm Yumiko, nationally certified English-speaking tour guide.
I live in Yamanashi Prefecture, which is next to Tokyo and the home of Mt. Fuji.
I myself love to travel, find something interesting, eat local good food, and have wonderful experience!!
I'd like to make your tour enjoyable and memorable.
Mt. Fuji area including the Fuji Five Lakes has many nice spots you must visit.
Walking tour in Aokigahara Forest is my favorite. Cycling around Lake Kawaguchiko is also fun!
Visit to Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine will inspire you with holy feeling.
Quick tour & tasting at Sake brewery are popular as well.

“A wonderful way to spend the day in Tokyo!”
We were in Tokyo for my son's wedding and had a free day. We booked Yumiko as our guide and had a wonderful experience. She met us in the morning at our hotel at the time we agreed upon. She was very friendly and very knowledgeable of each of the locations we chose to visit. Her English is excellent which was a big bonus for us, (as we basically spoke no Japanese other than a few phrases). I personally loved the restaurant Yumiko chose for our lunch. The food was excellent, but the aquarium-like ambiance was just as inviting. I would highly recommend Yumiko for your next guide in Tokyo. If you don't know what you want to visit, she will gladly recommend an itinerary based on your interests, or you can use your own itinerary. All in all we had a great day with Yumiko and we will absolutely seek her out the next time we are in Tokyo...

“Thank you for a wonderful trip”
Yumiko brought me around the Kawaguchiko area on my recent trip to Japan. Planning the itinerary was fuss-free as Yumiko was able to suggest places based on my interest and it was clear that she is knowledgeable about the area as she was also able to suggest other places on interest that I could visit for my remaining stay in the area. She is a warm and friendly lady who made me feel at ease during the trip. I learnt a lot about the Kawaguchiko area and the local culture/folklore. She is also conversant in English and she also taught me some simple Japanese phrases. I really appreciate the simple gestures, like learning how to fold origami, learning about the song of Mt Fuji and the recommendation of hoto noodles and chicken karaage for lunch. A great start to my trip in Japan. Thank you Yumiko for the memorable experience. No regrets choosing to visit Kawaguchiko!
