Meeting Point

Your hotel in Arusha City Center

- We will pick you up directly from your hotel or a designated meeting point in Arusha city center at 7:00 AM. Look for your guide holding a sign with your name or Crown of Africa Safari. From here, we will embark on a scenic 45-minute drive to the Arusha National Park main gate (Ngurdoto Gate) for registration and briefing before starting our game drive and walking safari.

Momella Lakes (Game Viewing & Canoeing)

A series of seven shallow lakes surrounded by lush forests and rolling hills. Here you will spot large flocks of lesser and greater flamingos, hippos lounging in the water, waterbucks, and giraffes grazing along the shores.

Ngurdoto Crater (The "Little Ngorongoro")

A steep-sided, lush volcanic crater about 3 km wide, surrounded by montane forest. We will drive along the rim viewpoints to catch breathtaking panoramic views of the crater floor and spot black-and-white Colobus monkeys swinging through the canopy.

Guided Walking Safari (Tala/Momella Waterfall area)

Accompanied by an armed wildlife ranger, you will take a short, immersive walking safari close to the base of Mount Meru. Experience the African bush on foot, getting up close to zebras, buffaloes, and various bird species while learning about medicinal plants and tracks.

Tour Important Information

-This tour involves a guided walking safari, so make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots.

-This tour is not recommended for those with severe back or knee problems due to bumpy roads inside the park.

-Please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or special meal preferences for your packed lunch.

-Don't forget to bring your camera, binoculars, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a light jacket or sweater as it can get breezy near the lakes and crater rim.

-Passport or identification card is required for park registration at the gate.
