Amani is the largest forested block within the East Usambara Mountains and occupies the southern extremity of these mountains. The ANR consists of tall luxurious sub montane forests and deciduous to semi-deciduous lowland forests with an Area (ha) 8,380 ha (This includes 1,065 ha of sub montane forest) .Amani is located in Tanga region and it falls within two districts Muheza and Korogwe. The Amani Botanical Garden, established in 1902, is one of the oldest Botanical Gardens in Africa.

Day 01
The tour start in Korogwe town with the pick from the hotel and start walking up to the mountains where you will have an overnight in the village on the way. Enjoy the interactions with communities. Visit the tea plantations and test tea leaves.
Day 02
Wake up in the morning have your breakfast after breakfast have your backpack and start hiking via korogwe township and.
Arrive to the village where you will have a lunch and have the late evening hike in the village before overnight.

Ndemaha Waterfalls and Village Tour
The tour start from Korogwe town, you will have a car or tuk tuk(Bajaj) and drive to Kwashemshi village then you will walk in the village say hello to the people then enter into the valley filled with flowing river where the community are doing some fishing. While you are heading to that part you will come across some fruits trees like mangoes, pineapple, Jackfruits, coconuts sugarcanes while people are making a local sugarcane beer. Can test the local beer and finally up to the waterfalls.
