Ayutthaya is one of Thailand's most treasured historical sites. Once the capital of Thailand, known as the Kingdom of Ayutthaya, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya was a powerful and thriving city in Southeast Asia for 417 years. While Ayutthaya has many captivating attractions, the Ayutthaya Historical Park, located in the heart of the city, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a must-see. Ayutthaya is known not only for its temples and palaces but also for its diverse and delicious local food.

Amazing and personalised travel experience

We booked with Saroj because he can speak Vietnamese. This is important because of my wife family are Vietnamese and they don’t speak English at all. Throughout the four days with Saroj, he patiently explained sights with them, be their translator with vendors, and sharing his shopping spots (not tourist prices spot) with us. He is not rushy, he is flexible with any adhoc changes when we changed the itinerary on the actual day due to family requirements. He is very punctual and he also makes sure we were well fed and hydrated throughout the day. Most importantly, all of us felt that he is a very patient guide who manages our “not-on-time” during the trip without being upset. He is polite and respectful to elders during the trip. We will definitely look for him or recommend him to our friends who are coming to Thailand as a personal travel guide. Thank you Saroj and the team for making my family first trip to Bangkok a memorable one.

Dear Mr. Bor Erng, Thank you so much for your heartfelt 5-star review! It was a true privilege to guide you and your lovely family around Thailand over the four days. I really enjoyed conversing in Vietnamese with your wife’s family and sharing our favorite authentic local spots with you all. We care for our guests like our own family, so being flexible and adapting to your pace was my absolute pleasure. Thank you once again for your warmth and kindness. I look forward to welcoming you, your family, and your friends back to Thailand soon! Warmest regards, Saroj

An Exceptional Day with Saroj

Somboon Elephant Foundation & River Kwai | 3 June Our day trip to the Somboon Elephant Foundation and River Kwai on 3 June was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand, and Saroj deserves credit His knowledge of the region, its history, and the cultural significance of the places we visited was impressive – and the way he shared it made everything come alive. His commentary throughout the day was fascinating and often surprising, offering insights and stories we simply wouldn’t have found in any guidebook. Saroj’s driving was excellent – smooth, confident, and safe – and his car was spacious and wonderfully comfortable, making the journey itself a pleasure rather than just a means to an end. We arrived at each destination relaxed and ready to enjoy it. What really set Saroj apart, though, was his patience and attentiveness. He was endlessly helpful, always anticipating what we needed, and never once made us feel rushed. He has a natural warmth and a wonderful sense of humour that made him genuinely great company all day long. If you’re planning a day trip in this area, book Saroj without hesitation. He made a special day truly unforgettable. Thank you, Saroj!
