Tunisia WWII battlefields
I find the WWII gems that Tunisia hides interesting . Together we will explore the many sites and sceneries of major sites of Tunisia campaign , starting with Northern Tunisia, where we will visit Long stop Hill, and the surrounding area of Medjez el Bab, going through major passes in the centre like Kasserine pass, Sidi Bouzid and Takrouna..
We will also visit the south of the country with the Mareth line and the local military museum. Then, we will go back to Tunis for a relaxing walk .

Day 1: Tunis-Medjez - Long Stop Hill - Tebourba-Kasserine pass - Sbeitla
Spend the night in Sbeitla.
Kasserine
Day 2: Sbeitla- El Guetar-ElAkarit -Tebbaga gap-Matmata.
Drive to el Guettar to visit Patton's hill ,stop at el Akarit and Tebaga gap . Accommodation in Matmata.
Matmata
Day 3: Matmata - Mareth line - Faid pass-el Houareb pass -kairouan
Visit the Mareth line and the local museum.Continue to Faid pass and el ahoureb pass .
Accommodation in Kairouan.

Day 4 : Kairouan -Takrouna -Tunis
Stop next to village of Takrouna .drive to Tunis .walk downtown in Tunis and in blue and white village of Sidi Bousaid
