“Convenient transfer ”
I arranged airport transfer and it was an easy process with confirmation message from the service provider, and details of the driver closer to the time. Besides having a placard, the chaos outside the airport makes it essential to be able to liase with driver to confirm meeting point.

“Comfortable, smooth trip from Český Krumlov to Salzburg”
Jay was an excellent driver/host for the 2.5 hour trip trip. His car was extremely comfortable and immaculately maintained. He was on time, friendly and helpful, and got us to our destination quickly and safely. I highly recommend Jay if you have transportation needs near Salzburg.

As well as being an experienced Blue Badge Tour Guide (the ultimate qualification in guiding) I am also a City of London Guide, City of Westminster Guide, Windsor and Eton Guide and Tate Gallery Guide, so wherever we go you'll be in good hands. Only Blue Badge tour guides are permitted to guide inside certain locations, such as Westminster Abbey, Windsor Castle and the Tower of London. My aim is to provide you with enthusiastic, informative and fun private tours which ensure that your London experience will be the best. I was born in the North of England but spent much of my childhood living in India and the Middle East. I moved to London for a year to study on a postgraduate course and never left - working, bringing up my children and developing my career in guiding here. Apart from a few years living in Japan and Singapore, London has been my home for 30 years. I believe there is something for everyone here in London, 2000 years of history rubbing shoulders in a contemporary city with modern architecture, fashion and art. Whatever you are interested in, whether it is royalty, castles, palaces, traditions, galleries, museums or modern culture I can tailor a tour for you. My bespoke tours include walking tours, tours by public transport ( bus, tube, boat or train), or I can organize a car with a driver or a minibus. Within London we can cover the major sites--Westminster Abbey, Royal London, Buckingham Palace, Changing of the Guard, Churchill War Rooms, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London or explore less well-known districts like Bermondsey, Shoreditch or Spitalfields. Out of London Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Bath, Dover, Leeds Castle, Hever Castle are a few of the many wonderful places that can be easily reached in a day trip. I'm a qualified London guide now offering History Walks with Gender, Sex and Class. Walks focus on the lives of poorer working people rarely described in historical accounts except as criminals or objects of charity. When there’s an opportunity to talk about women I’ll take it, and social class is always on the table. I've been a writer, researcher and critical historian all my life, and I've been a Londoner since the 1960s, although I've left to live in other towns and countries. Author of Sex at the Margins: Migration, Labour Markets and the Rescue Industry, for many years I've focused on getting the stories out of women and others marginalised because of being poor, foreign, ‘different’ or doing jobs some folks think are Wrong, in the present and in the past. I'm known as The Naked Anthropologist.

A little about me – I am a Londoner (‘born and bred’ as the saying goes) and, following the rigorous training, in March 2005 I qualified as a registered Tourist Guide (with the Blue Badge tourist guiding qualification, the highest guiding qualification in the UK). Since then I have worked exclusively as a professional tourist guide. The Blue Badge qualification allows me to guide in key visitor sites such as Westminster Abbey, The Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral. I have guided groups of all sizes (from single individual via couples, families and all through to double-decker bus parties of around 60 individuals). Since 2007 I have been personally recommended by American travel writer Rick Steves in his London and European guide books which has led to the opportunity to work with clients in developing the itineraries that best suited their needs and interests (taking into account factors such as venues opening days, dates, times and peak periods). For me guiding is both a privilege and a great pleasure. The last year has of course been tough for everyone involved in the Travel and Tourism industry and I have truly missed the day to day experience of guiding visitors in and around London and other locations (ie Windsor, Stonehenge). I am able to offer themed tours Iconic London, Shakespeare’s London, Beatles London and Hidden London (to name a few). My ethos is that visitors enjoy and are entertained by what they see and hear (and learn along the way!)
