Starting right in front of Edinburgh Castle we will walk down the Royal Mile - one of the most incredible medieval streets in Europe and will witness how the city grew and changed over the centuries. The tour covers both the Old and the New Towns.

This place is impossible to miss and it is the perfect location to start your acquaintance with Edinburgh.
Edinburgh Castle (optional)
The beautiful panorama from the top of Castle Rock is a must-see, while the Scottish Crown Jewels and a visit to the castle's citadel are the attractions not to be missed.
However, this part of the tour can be omitted to be left for an individual visit at later times. In this case, the duration of the tour will be adjusted accordingly.

Once we have finished with the Edinburgh Castle tour (if we had one) we can proceed down the Royal Mile - one of the most spectacular medieval streets in Europe.
Grassmarket
This former market square is also dubbed as a public execution place. Many grim stories to be told here.
Greyfriars Cemetery
An old cemetery in Central Edinburgh is home to the graves of Greyfriars Bobby, Tom Riddle aka Lord Voldemort from JK Rowling's books, and the notorious Mackenzie Poltergeist.
