My name is Jacob, and I've been exploring Colorado since 2007, when I moved here for my first engineering job. Right away, I began hiking the beautiful Rocky Mountain peaks, then climbing the cliffs, and learning to camp in the backcountry, but what I loved the most was exploring on my bicycle. I loved it so much that I eventually quit my job to simply ride my bike as far as I could go. Three years later, I returned to Colorado having pedaled 38,000 miles and circled the earth twice. My route traced from Portugal to China, Alaska to Argentina, then across New Zealand, Australia, and Africa. While I was out there, I learned to exist in nature, to be confident in handling any situation, and to always find beauty in my surroundings.
This is the experience I bring to my tours. I pride myself in finding the most scenic places to visit, that both highlights the natural beauty of Colorado, as well as captures the local charm of the people who live here.
