You will learn about the history of the first settlers in the area, and some fun stories about the origins of moonshine. We will start off with a tasting at Tennessee Legend Distillery in Sevierville. Then head to Old Forge Distillery in Pigeon Forge for a tasting, and wander around this historic little town. We will stop for lunch at the Old Mill restaurant. After filling up, we will head to the Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery where they will teach you about the makings of their famous whisky!

Tasting at Tennessee Legend Distillery - Sevierville
We will start off with a tasting of the legendary moonshine at Tennessee Legend Distillery in Sevierville. They will tell you about the history of their origins and let you sample a number of their varieties of moonshine.
Tasting at Old Forge Distillery - Pigeon Forge
We will then head to Old Forge Distillery in Pigeon Forge, where you can sample some of their finely crafted whisky, and later wander around this historic little town.
Lunch at Old Mill southern restaurant
The Old Mill restaurant is a must try when you are in this area, which prides itself on mouthwatering Southern style cooking and hospitality. We will stop here for lunch.
Distillery Tour at Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery - Gatlinburg
After filling up, we will head to the Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery, located in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. There, you will go on a moonshine tour, where they will teach you about the makings of their famous whisky!

Possible attractions to visit:
-Gatlinburg SkyLift Park - ride the SkyLift to the top of Crockett Mountain, offering stunning views. Walk across the SkyBridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America!
-Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies - a family favorite with interactive exhibits, including a tunnel where you’re surrounded by sharks and stingrays.
-Gatlinburg Space Needle
-Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum

Cash for tips at tasting, not necessary but encouraged. You may want to shop around for souvenirs in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, so consider bringing cash or credit card.
Tour Important Information
If you are staying in the Smoky Mountain region already, I will pick you up from your hotel or cabin. If you are staying in Knoxville, please meet me at the first distillery. If you would like me to pick you up in Knoxville, there will be an extra charge, as the city is about an hour away. Also, if you have a group of people larger than 3, I can accommodate you with a larger rental vehicle.
Important message from the supplier
If you need to be picked up in Knoxville and would like to take any tours in the Smoky Mountains, there will be an additional fee for extra time and mileage, as Knoxville is about an hour away from the Smoky Mountains.
