The Sunsphere
- The Sunsphere is Knoxville’s iconic observation tower and the centerpiece of World’s Fair Park, built for the 1982 World’s Fair to embody the theme “Energy Turns the World.”

Market Square

Lunch at Five Thirty Lounge rooftop in Hyatt Hotel
Located on the 10th floor, Five Thirty Lounge offers a sleek indoor bar surrounded by 15-foot floor‑to‑ceiling glass with panoramic views of downtown Knoxville and the Smoky Mountains.
Blount Mansion
We will finish off the exploration with admission to a guided history tour of the inside of the Blount Mansion. Known as the birthplace of Tennessee, the residence of Governor William Blount, and the early territorial capital.

I can pick you up at your hotel if it is within 3 miles of downtown Knoxville, or you can meet me at the Sunsphere. This will be a walking tour.
Important message from the supplier
If you need to be picked up in Knoxville and would like to take any tours in the Smoky Mountains, there will be an additional fee for extra time and mileage, as Knoxville is about an hour away from the Smoky Mountains.

Full Day Hiking and History of the Smoky Mountains with Lunch Provided
There is a reason the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited national park in the country, with over 14 million visitors each year! On this tour we will be hiking up to Alum Cave, with breathtaking views and great photo ops all around. The hike is about 5 miles roundtrip, which will take us approximately 3.5 hours with stops and lunch. We will have lunch at Alum Cave, and then visit Kuwohi Visitor Center, which is a popular destination for scenic views on the Observation deck.
