On this private walking tour we will take in the glitz and glitter of some of the most famous shop displays in the world, bedecked in all their holiday finery. You will also learn about NYC and American Christmas traditions, and how they evolved. We will pop into some beautiful interiors only for those in the know, and we will visit New York's extravagant and celebrated Holiday Markets! Custom options also avail.

It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year! Enjoy the magical lights and glamorous sites and sounds of an elegant Christmas in New York! On this private walking tour we will take in the glitz and glitter of some of the most famous shop displays in the world, bedecked in all their holiday finery. You will also learn about NYC and American Christmas traditions, and how they evolved.
Fifth Avenue Shops & Hotels
See the Magnificent Shops of the most famous commercial street in the city! We will pop into some off the beaten track spots, known only to locals, to see the splendid displays. This is your tour - so allow yourself to be lured inside by the most sparkly and enticing jewels, the softest cashmere, the most fun interactive experience along the route. Along the way we will witness some fantastic light shows and take photos worthy of featuring on your fabulous holiday cards
Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree
THE tree - up close and personal - with time to spend at Rock Center and enjoy the splendor at your own pace - without the rush, without the crush. See the skaters, take in the magic!
A highlight of this tour is the shopping! We will make our way to several of New York's celebrated holiday markets, located in various parks and other venues throughout the city. These extravagant collections of shops and stalls feature handmade goods from around the world, one of a kind gifts, delicious treats and warming beverages, and transporting carols. Indulge in the feeling and get that much needed retail therapy for the holidays.

Would you like to ice skate? Ride a pedi cab through the streets? Take a horse drawn carriage through the park? This can all be arranged as we customize your tour. Additional historic touring time can be added as well, or travel to see Holiday lights in Brooklyn or Downtown Manhattan.
Perhaps just enjoy a spectacularly well balanced cocktail at an elegant bar all dressed up in holiday splendor - it's up to you.

Tour Important Information
Dress warmly, wear comfortable shoes and keep your valuables hidden/secure on your person. The holiday shopping areas are popular and crowded - and this means pickpockets and other opportunists may be around in abundance. we will try to curtail and unpleasant or over bearing crowds, but often being in the fray is part of the experience! So its best to prepare to be comfortable and secure before we depart.

Hello! Welcome to my page and hopefully soon, New York!
I am a born and bred NY Native, having grown up in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. The city, its people, food, neighborhoods, rich diverse history, cutting edge innovation, storied nightlife and world-renowned cultural treasures were my playground and classroom; and I am so grateful to have had this teacher. After University, I lived for three years in London and Paris - and then returned to my home town where I have been enjoying my work in Tourism and Hospitality ever since.
I’ve been a professional guide for many years working for companies like Tui, Globus and Disney. I have lead groups, both large and small, that include students, adults, business professionals, and retirees from the U.S. and abroad. I love taking guests around my beautiful city, and re-discovering its majesty and wonder with visitors - this is truly a privilege.
I excel at private tours and in sharing the magical experiences that can only be found in this dynamic and daunting city. Together, we will unlock it's secrets and discover why NYC, the star of so many memorable movies and novels, is such a beloved, romantic and exciting city.
What do I do in my spare time? I write, act, garden and hike. I teach kids financial literacy in an after school enrichment program. I walk my wonderful dog in Brooklyn Bridge Park and I take advantage of the world-class museums and restaurants this great city has to offer.
