Muhammad Aminkhan Madrasa

Built in the 1850s, Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasah is the largest madrasah in Khiva and one of the city's most remarkable educational institutions. During our visit, you will discover how Islamic education was organized, explore the lives of students and teachers, and learn about the ambitious ruler who commissioned this magnificent complex. The elegant tilework and grand architecture reflect the final flourishing of Khivan architecture before the Russian conquest.
