“Exactly What We Were Hoping For On Our Trip!”
TL;DR: would HIGHLY recommend and use again if we went back! Tony is super communicative in planning and very knowledgable for tours and history. We were able to fully customize our time with him, and he accommodated our preferences on the fly during the days. In Hoi An, we went to a nearby farming village and then toured around Old Town. He struck a great balance of being informative + engaging without overwhelming. I wanted to shop some and walk around leisurely in between spots, which Tony was fine with! He knew all the good local spots for food, including better versions of the more "touristy" destinations. Trust him with this. We only had a half day in Danang and packed in as much as we could in that time. Tony was also able to point out and talk about sights in the car as we passed them. Our tours included pick up and drop off at our hotel. Tony is punctual, has his own car, which was clean and auto-started (key for hot VN days!), and provided us cold waters from his prepared cooler. In case it needs to be said, his English is excellent and we always felt safe and comfortable with his driving and company. His pricing was very fair and when our meal cost less than what was allotted for the food tour, he offered to refund us the difference, which we appreciated but had him keep as gratuity. All in all, if/when we go back, we would reach out to Tony again for all our tour and transport needs. It's super convenient that he's both the driver and the professional guide. And he's a good photographer! He was definitely one of the highlights of our short time in Vietnam and we can't thank him enough.

“The Best Tour Guide Ever!”
My family took the Da Nang City tour with Tony. I booked with Tony because of his 5 star reviews. My family was astonished to have Tony as our guide. He spoke fluent english, with a ver light accent, which we could clearly understand. He told us about everything we saw and added the history behind it! He was such an awesome guide! He recommended restaurants to go to for the remaining time in DaNang, took pictures with us. Provided water on the long tours. Answered all of our questions, and stayed with us the whole time! He was extremely patient as we roamed she shopping area. We were pleased with him and his driver. There were only 8 of us and we had a 15 seat van! If you want a good experience in Da Nang or Hoi An he is the person to take you and you won’t regret it!

Thank you very much Telesfora for your kind review. It was very nice to be with you and your family

“Personalized tour to find military battlefields”
Tony was an extremely professional, responsive, and helpful guide. I reached out requesting his help to find a little known location of a battle that occurred in 1965. There is very little documentation available on the exact location of the battle so we had very little to work from. Still, Tony took what I had and contacted others to help narrow down the location we were seeking. Tony was persistent, and committed to finding the location - even hiking through mud and knee hide water to compare what he saw to an old photo I had. In the end, we didn’t find the exact location, but through Tony, I was still able to see a few locations where battles had taken place, meet locals in the villages, and learn a bit more about Vietnam. Also of note, I was traveling alone and felt very safe with Tony at all times.
