Meeting Point

Your Hotel

- Relax on a traditional cyclo as you travel from your hotel to the Ho Chi Minh Complex. Glide along leafy avenues lined with elegant French colonial buildings while watching Hanoi’s local life unfold around you. This slow-paced journey lets you absorb the city’s atmosphere, blending historic charm, daily rhythms, and authentic street scenes—an enjoyable and scenic introduction to the capital.

08:20 AM

Ho Chi Minh Complex – Heart of Vietnam’s History

The Ho Chi Minh Complex is a deeply meaningful site that reflects the life, values, and legacy of Vietnam’s most respected leader. Visitors begin at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where President Ho Chi Minh rests in eternal peace and where Vietnamese history comes vividly to life. Nearby, his modest stilt house stands quietly beside a fish pond and shaded gardens, symbolizing his simple lifestyle and close bond with nature. Completing the visit is the One-Pillar Pagoda, an iconic 11th-century structure rising gracefully from a lotus pond, representing purity, wisdom, and spiritual devotion. Together, these landmarks offer a powerful and inspiring glimpse into Vietnam’s history, culture, and national identity.

10:00 AM

B-52 Wreckage Lake: A War-Time Landmark

B-52 Wreckage Lake is one of Hanoi’s most unique historical landmarks, symbolizing the city’s courage and endurance during the Vietnam War. Tucked away in a calm residential area, the lake preserves the visible remains of a B-52 bomber shot down in 1972. Surrounded by everyday local life, the peaceful atmosphere today creates a striking contrast to its wartime past, inviting visitors to reflect on history, resilience, and the journey toward peace in modern Hanoi.

10:30 AM

Temple of Literature and Quoc Tu Giam – Vietnam’s First University

The Temple of Literature and Quoc Tu Giam stands as a timeless tribute to Vietnam’s intellectual and cultural heritage. Established in 1070, the Temple of Literature was created to honor Confucius and promote moral values, serving as a sacred space for learning and reflection rather than formal education. Later, Quoc Tu Giam emerged as Vietnam’s first national university, nurturing talented scholars who would shape the nation’s future. Today, its serene gardens, historic architecture, and stone steles celebrating academic success invite visitors to step into a world where knowledge, tradition, and national pride are deeply intertwined.

11:10 AM

Hanoi Old Quarter – A Charming Cyclo Journey

Enjoy a relaxing cyclo ride from the Temple of Literature to Hanoi’s lively Old Quarter. Along the way, pass shaded streets, local neighborhoods, and charming colonial buildings while observing daily life unfold around you. As you enter the bustling Old Quarter, soak in its vibrant atmosphere of narrow streets, shops, and street vendors. The journey ends with a comfortable drop-off at your hotel, leaving you with lasting memories of Hanoi’s unique charm.

About Tour Guide Alex N.

Xin Chào & Welcome to Hanoi!

Hello! My name is Alex, a professional tour guide proudly based in Hanoi.

I was born and raised in Hanoi, so this city is not just where I work—it’s my home. From hidden alleys and local markets to historical landmarks and everyday life, I truly understand Hanoi, its culture, and its people. I graduated from two major universities in Hanoi, specializing in Tourism (Tour Guide) and English, and I have been working in the tourism industry since 1995.

I speak fluent English and bring strong knowledge of Vietnamese history, geography, traditions, culture, and local customs. Over the years, I have built close partnerships with trusted service providers, including hotels, transportation companies, and ticket agencies. Thanks to this network, I can design and organize private, flexible, and fully customized tours to match your interests, pace, and travel style. Traveling with me means smooth services, thoughtful planning, and a worry-free experience.

More than a guide, I am also a passionate traveler—just like you. I love discovering new destinations, tasting local cuisine, and learning about different cultures. I have traveled extensively across Asia, including China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea. When we travel together, we share the same curiosity, excitement, and passion for discovering the real Vietnam.

Your vacation is not just a trip — it’s a lifetime experience.

I look forward to welcoming you and creating unforgettable memories in Vietnam!
