Mua cave
Begin your journey with a scenic drive through the countryside of Ninh Binh, then challenge yourself with a hike up nearly 500 steps to the top of Mua Cave. From the summit, you'll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of Tam Coc’s limestone mountains and vast rice fields. It’s an ideal stop for photography lovers and anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of northern Vietnam.
Hoa Lu ancient temple
Hoa Lu Ancient Temples are located in Ninh Binh Province, within the historic grounds of Vietnam’s first capital in the 10th century. These temples are dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh, two national heroes who played pivotal roles in unifying and defending the country.
Set against a backdrop of dramatic limestone mountains, the temples are steeped in solemn beauty and historical reverence. Built in traditional Vietnamese architecture with intricate wood carvings, stone dragons, and moss-covered tile roofs, the temples preserve the spirit of a bygone era. Walking through their courtyards feels like stepping back in time — quiet, sacred, and full of legacy.
A visit to Hoa Lu is not only a journey into Vietnam’s royal past, but also a moment to reflect on the enduring pride and resilience of its people.
Note: The itinerary is flexible and can start with either Mua Cave or Hoa Lu, depending on the actual conditions.
Lunch time

Both options offer a serene and unforgettable experience, perfect for nature lovers and those seeking a glimpse of Vietnam’s stunning countryside.
