I will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels with 1. 5 hour of drive around 70 km northwest of the city.
Overview of Tunnles
- Cu Chi Tunnels are part of a massive and elaborate tunnel system used during the Vietnam War. This place offers a reliable stronghold for Viet Cong soldiers during the wars against the French and mainly the US soldiers. It comprises more than 200km of underground tunnels with booby traps and trapdoors, living areas, kitchens, storage facilities, hospitals, and command centers. By walking and crawling through the tunnels, you will get a sense of the world of guerrilla warfare in the incredible Cu Chi tunnels and gain insight into the tenacity and bravery of the soldiers.
Before entering the tunnels we will stop to discover rubber plantations or rice field.
Cu Chi Tunnel
- Discover how the tunnels were built by fighters as a base from which the Viet Cong could operate.
- We will visit a underground network dug-out which was being used during the Vietnam - USA war. There is little evidence to indicate the intense fighting, bombing and destruction that went on in Cu Chi during the war.
- Lunch will be served with a local special style.

“Excellent Tour of Mekong Delta”
Mekong Tour: Cai Be Village and Xeo Quyt Forest. Excellent tour and guide. Lee is very knowledgeable and patient explaining about the Mekong Delta and answering our many questions. Native to the areas visited. Tour takes you away from the main tourist spots in the delta and into more authentic areas. Plan on at least 9 hours for the tour. Highly recommend.
