Hien Luong Bridge - Ben Hai River
The Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River are considered two important "historical witnesses" that endured many fierce attacks by the US Army during the Vietnam War. Following numerous bomb-related collapses, Hien Luong Bridge was reconstructed to accommodate locals' traffic demands. Nowadays, the Hien Luong Bridge, which spans the Ben Hai River, is a popular tourist destination.
Vinh Moc Tunnels (Upon Request)
Vinh Moc Tunnels in Quang Tri are regarded as an underground village. The army and locals built this tunnel to provide cover during the fierce fighting at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel.
This underground tunnel system is divided into many parts, such as the kitchen, well, conference room, and medical room. The Vinh Moc Tunnels are evidence of a strong and courageous Vietnam that is willing to face challenges and adversity in exchange for its independence.
Lap An Lagoon
At over 800 ha, Lap An Lagoon is one of Hue's biggest brackish lagoons. This place possesses a poetic beauty, especially at the two most beautiful moments of the day, dawn and dusk.
In addition, Lap An is home to a small fishing village where fishermen make a living by raising oysters and fishing. Visitors can pause here to take in the stunning natural surroundings, savor delectable seafood delicacies, and sip coffee at the wayside cafe.
Hai Van Pass
The Hai Van Pass is an important mountain pass connecting Hue and Da Nang, offering stunning views of Vietnam's East Sea.
