Experience the intrigue of the flora, fauna and local cuisine found on stunning, private Monkey Pools on this nature adventure! This fun will include meeting some of the wildlife of the inner Lusaka National Park, and exploring the Chifwema Arboretum, and learning about the unique history of our 250+ waterfalls, forests and indigenous trees.

The Monkey Pools
MukaMunya is a gated community estate with 64 one-hectare plots situated in a stunning, lush natural setting on Leopards Hill Road. It was established as a park. The most breathtaking natural phenomenon in Lusaka is their natural pools! They also feature swimming pools and lovely, tranquil grounds.
Feeding baby elephants
At 6,715 hectares, it is the smallest national park in Zambia. The park is home to over a thousand different species, such as pangolins, axis deers, warthogs, giraffes, eland, sable, kudu, blue wildebeest, waterbuck, black lechwe, impala, puku, bushbuck, reedbuck, and white rhino.
Nature Walk at Chifwema Arboretum
Chifwema Arboretum seeks to be the “go to place” for all things related to trees in Zambia. It is a living museum of indigenous trees and plants,which covers an area of around 30 acres where the natural vegetation is Miombo woodland, dominated by Brachystegia, Julbernardia and Isoberlinia species.
Food tour at the Village or Sugar bush Farm
These places have a variety of alternative foods, but the nshima is the staple food and it can be eaten with any meats or veggies. I hope you like it!

*Dress the part
*Fees to the Monkey pools only allow access to the clubhouse, the Monkey Pools and the picnic grounds.
*Swimming in the natural pools is forbidden.
*Green season is a great time to go because the pools are full

I am free from 8am- 1pm most days. I prefer 48-hour advance notice so that I can plan. Two days before the tour, I will be available on WhatsApp, we can schedule a call to arrange.
