Tsaghkadzor
Located just 50km from Yerevan, Tsaghkadzor is Armenia’s premier resort town. It shifts effortlessly from a snowy ski paradise in winter to a vibrant green retreat in summer.
Tsaghkadzor Ropeway
It takes you up Mount Teghenis (2,819 meters) for a panoramic view of the Armenian Highlands.
Kecharis Monastery
An 11th century masterpiece of medieval Armenian architecture located right in the heart of town.
Lake Sevan
one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world. At 1,900 meters above sea level, the air is crisp and the water is a brilliant turquoise.
Sevanavank Monastery
Perched on a peninsula, these 9^{th}-century black stone churches offer the most famous photo op in the country. You'll need to climb about 200 steps to get there, but the view is worth every breath.
Dilijan (Old Dilijan)
Passing through a long tunnel from Sevan, you emerge into a completely different ecosystem. Dilijan is characterized by its dense oak and beech forests and its humid, "healing" air.
Old Dilijan is A restored 19th-century street with stone buildings and wooden balconies where local craftsmen work.
Parz Lake
A small, tranquil lake reflecting the surrounding forest—perfect for a quiet stroll or a quick boat ride.
The Caucasian Red Deer Breeding Center.
is a conservation success story located within the lush Dilijan National Park. It was established as part of a reintroduction program to bring red deer back to the forests of Armenia after they had essentially disappeared from the region.
Haghartsin monastery
Tucked deep in the Dilijan National Park, this hidden gem looks like something out of a fairytale, especially when the mist rolls through the trees.
Ending Point
YEREVAN republic square or Your Hotel.

“Great experience”
ROT54 is a stunning and fascinating place that you shouldn't miss when visiting Yerevan. We had a great tour with Chris. He showed us places that we wouldn't have found on our own. He didn't rush us, so we could explore everything at our own pace. We ended up spending much longer at ROT54 than we had anticipated, yet we still returned to Yerevan earlier than expected. A perfect trip!

This tour was an incredible experience and one of the most memorable parts of my trip to Armenia. The site is fascinating, combining scientific history, impressive engineering, and beautiful scenery. Learning about the telescope and its role in astronomical research was both educational and inspiring. A special thank to Chris, who made the tour truly outstanding. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and friendliness were a constant throughout the experience. He shared fascinating stories about Armenia and answered every question with patience and expertise.
