Meeting Point
Your Hotel in Yerevan
- Your location Address
Hovhannavank
Hovhannavank is a medieval architectural masterpiece perched dramatically on the edge of the Kasakh River Canyon. Founded in the 4th century, the existing structures largely date back to the 1200s and represent some of the finest stonework of that era.
Saghmosavank Monastery
Saghmosavank is an architectural marvel of the 13th century, celebrated for its dramatic location and its historical role as a center for calligraphy.
Tradition holds that the monastery was named for the psalms sung by the monks that could be heard echoing through the gorge. It was designed to have exceptional acoustics, which still resonate within the stone walls today.
The Armenian Alphabet Monument:
Set in a vast field at the foot of Mount Aragats, these 39 giant tuff-stone letters serve as a monument to the national identity. It’s an interactive stop where travelers can find their initials and learn about the scholar Mesrop Mashtots.
Mount Aragats & Lake Kari
The tour climbs to 3,190 meters above sea level to reach the alpine Lake Kari (Stone Lake). The air is crisp, the landscape is volcanic, and the southern peak of Armenia’s highest mountain towers above. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the silence of the high highlands.
Armenia Wine Factory (Sasunik)
Unlike the historic brandy vaults in the city, this is a modern journey into the "renaissance" of Armenian winemaking. You’ll explore a state-of-the-art winery that blends volcanic terroir with ancient traditions. The degustation here is as much about the art and the soil as it is about the wine.
Ending Point
YEREVAN republic square or Your Hotel.

“Personalized tour of Etchmiadzin and Mother Armenia”
Book Chris when touring Etchmiadzin, St. Gayane, and St. Hripsime - his expertise and knowledge of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the history of the church, saints, and practices are invaluable and elevate your tour of these special religious sites. In addition to his warm demeanor, he was willing to accommodate my special requests and tailor my experience to fit my needs, which I greatly appreciated. In addition, he speaks numerous languages (his English is perfect), drives his own (very clean) car, and navigates the crazy traffic and roads in Yerevan well - I felt very safe and well taken care of during my tour. Thank you Chris for making my visit to Armenia unforgettable!
