We will pass by the Khor Virap Monastery and see the historic hall of St. Gregory, the man who brought Christianity to the Armenian nation. Then we will head to the Noravank Monastery (13th century), where you will be impressed by the colors of its stones and the architecture of its church. Next, we will arrive in the town of Jermuk, famous for its sulfur springs and waterfalls. On the way back, we will stop at the Areni Winery for a tour and taste three varieties of pomegranate wine.

Khor Virab

Khor Virap's history centers on St. Gregory the Illuminator, imprisoned in its deep pit for 13 years by King Tiridates III for spreading Christianity, making it the cradle of Armenia's conversion in 301 AD, the world's first Christian nation. Khor virab is almost 40 km distance from Yerevan and most close from the Turkish boarder. In this place you can see the mountain Ararat.

Noravank Monastry

Noravank Monastery was founded in the 9th century, but its main structures were built in the 13th–14th centuries, primarily by the Orbelyan princes and architect Momik. The monastery includes several churches like the Surb Astvatsatsin and Surb Karapet. It is famous for its distinctive architecture, rich sculptures, and numerous khachkars. The monsetry located almost 110 km south of Yerevan.

Jermuk is a mountain spa town and the centre of the Jermuk Municipality of the Vayots Dzor Province in southern Armenia with the distance 170 km from the capital Yerevan . It was considered one of the popular destinations for medical tourism and spa center. Jermuk is known for some of its popular attractions, which include: Hot Springs.
