Saint Hripsime Church.
Saint Hripsime Church (618 AD)
This church is a masterpiece of the "inscribed tetraconch" style.
Built by Catholicos Komitas on the site where the martyr St. Hripsime was killed.
The structure is famous for its earthquake resistance and has remained largely intact for over 1,400 years. You can visit the tomb of St. Hripsime in the crypt.
Etchmiadzin Mother Cathedral & Treasury
Established in 301 AD, it is widely regarded as the oldest cathedral in the world. It was built over a pagan temple, symbolizing the nation's transition to Christianity.
The Treasury (Museum): A must-visit section containing sacred relics, including:
The Holy Spear (Geghard) that pierced the side of Christ.
A fragment of Noah’s Ark.
The Right Hand of St. Gregory the Illuminator.
Saint Gayane Church
Saint Gayane Church (630 AD)
Located within walking distance of the Mother Cathedral, this church offers a more serene and intimate atmosphere.
it has three-nave domed basilica with an elegant triple-arched portico added in 1683.
the Church's location is Built over the burial site of St. Gayane, the prioress who was martyred alongside her companions.
Zvartnots Temple Ruins
On the return to Yerevan, the tour concludes at the remains of this unique circular cathedral.
The Design: Once a three-tiered central-domed structure, it was a marvel of medieval engineering before collapsing in a 10th-century earthquake.
The site offers one of the most iconic photographic views in Armenia, framing the ruins against the backdrop of Mount Ararat.

Trip to Khor Virab, Noravank Monastry, Jermuk Waterfall, Areni Winery tour & tasting
We will pass by the Khor Virap Monastery and see the historic hall of St. Gregory, the man who brought Christianity to the Armenian nation. Then we will head to the Noravank Monastery (13th century), where you will be impressed by the colors of its stones and the architecture of its church. Next, we will arrive in the town of Jermuk, famous for its sulfur springs and waterfalls. On the way back, we will stop at the Areni Winery for a tour and taste three varieties of pomegranate wine.
