A private boutique wine or whiskey tour of Hobart.

Where guests will select there beverage of preference and i will design then introduce them to a well balance day of tastings. We will visit 3 to four wineries or distilleries, showcasing the local produce, sharing the industry milestones and tasting notes as we move across the Hobart surrounding. While i do the driving my guests can relax and enjoy the days fruits, conversations, and of course meet the local and passionate producers.

Derwent Esate winery, or Derwent Distillery

Wine; Our first stop provides a wide selection on offer. From a deliciously fresh Sparkling to a Deep Bold Pinot Noir.

Whiskey; Watch out for their smooth bourbon cask release, it a local favorite.

Both venues are sitting alongside the beautiful Derwent River over looking the Derwent valley.

Both of these venues will surprise our guests, with many varietals and profiles that are always changing and pushing against the old traditional methods. With, yes our usual selection and original plantings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but also fresh fruit style spirits, brandies and liqueurs.

Lunch in Richmond

Lets relax and debrief the mornings tastings, share stories and enjoy a local sit down lunch at one of Richmond's local cafes.

Wine; Pooley wines. Whiskey; Killara Distillery

Pooley wines is one of the oldest wineries in the Coal river valley and will spend time understanding their history, tasting their new releases and sharing tasting notes, stories of their family and this region.

Killara Distillery, offers a very unique experience, truly one of my favorite visits and a special story amongst local distillers. Guest will enjoy a wide range of tastings, from a old navy Gin to a textural aged single cask whiskey.

Wine; Glaetzer Dixon family wine makers. Whiskey; Spring bay distillery.

Glaetzer Dixon family wine makers, offers us a private tasting experience right there in their wine making factory. This is truly an intimate and well deserved offer. with a moody urban tasting room, you will be treated to some of Tasmania's best shiraz, Riesling and Pinot Noir.

Spring bay Distillery, will take us behind the scenes and share their methods of prodcucing some of Hobarts top quality, vodka, Gin, and single malt whiskey.

Ending Point

wrap up with guests hotel drop off at 530pm.

My background is in outdoor education, tourism and youth services and support. With skills and quails in Building on the side.

My real passion is outdoor adventure and meeting global travellers.
