Meeting Point
Hobart guest Acoomodation.
- I will pickup guests in front of their Hobart accommodation, a couple of minutes before the tour start time. Please provide your accommodation location and preferred time. Also indicate if you need to stop along the way before we reach the ferry.
Kettering
This is where we catch the ferry over to Bruny Island. Sometimes there can be long ques, that's why we try and do pickup early.
20 mins will see us on the other side, heading south on Bruny Island.
Fresh Produce pickup
We have a brief stop so i can run in and pickup some fresh oysters and cheese for your picnic.
Isthmus/Neck Reserve
We climb the 132 steps to get above the sand dunes and pigeon rockery, for some spectacular sweeping coastal views across Adventure Bay, Mt Mangana, Tasman Island, Cape Queen Elizabeth and Simpsons Bay.
Secret Beach spot
Spend time enjoying the fresh local oysters and cheese, while hearing the stories from our past and community.
Adventure Bay
Go in search of the white wallaby, walk amongst the old growth fern glades, and for bird watchers, spend time looking for the allusive Spotted Pardalote .
Two tree point
This is a historical stop to understand and set the scene of the English coming ashore, interpreting what was in front of them. We will also dive in deep with other documented encounters from other explorers.
Bruny Island Winery
We again take time to relax and enjoy the Islands fresh local produce, with a wine tasting before a delicious gourmet lunch. Please indicate any dietary requirements as you book.
Afternoon activity
Select from 3 activity options for your afternoon. All 3 are very unique and local.
1. Bruny lighthouse tour, Cape Bruny.
2. Inala Nature Reserve, A Gondwana native garden and fossil museum.
3. Hiba private garden walk, tesselated cliff look out and chocolate shop.

Bruny Island Honey
A short stop to taste the local leatherwood Honey or ice cream.
Catch the ferry back to Hobart
Make our way back to Hobart via the ferry .
