The Cathedral of Our Lady of Exhile is the ground zero of the Portuguese colonization.

Cruz e Sousa Museum (Old Governor's Palace)

The Old Governor's Palace is the perfect opportunity to learn about architecture. We will visit its garden and take woderful pictures.

Food Market at Largo da Alfândega (Old Customs Square)

We pass by this Food Market to check foods and fruits so we understand what we will taste along the way

Public Market

In the Public Market there are local restaurants, souvenir shops as well as local fish and groceries. This is the time for trying Sugar Cane juice and the local delicacy, Coxinha.

Restaurant Box 32

Box 32 is the most traditional Bar and Restaurant at the public Market. Here we try cachaça, the national sugar cane distilled drink, and a local shellfish pastel.

Amazon Fruit Bowls

Authentic Açaí, fresh fruit bowls, and tropical flavors from the Amazon in the heart of Floripa. We try Duck with Tucupi Sauce, Tacacá, a traditional shrimp soup and different exotic flavours of ice cream.

Parque da Luz and Hercílio Luz Bridge

We hop on my car for a 5 minutes drive to Parque da Luz (Luz Park) where we enjoy beautiful views to the city's main post card: Hercílio Luz Bridge. We take a nice short walk around the park and great photos by the bridge.

Santo Antônio de Lisboa

We visit the charming neighbourhood of Santo Anonio de Lisboa to enjoy its colonial architecture and local artisan shops by the bay.

Freguesia Oyster Bar

We finish the tour with an oyster tasting experience at one of the best restaurants in town, Freguesia Oyster Bar.

Tour Important Information

- Dietary Needs & Preferences: Please let me know in advance if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions so I can tailor our food and drink tastings for you.

- Traveling with Children: If you are bringing children under 10, please let me know their ages, heights, and weights prior to booking so I can arrange the appropriate, legally required car seats or booster seats for our drive.

- Bigger Groups (Van Upgrade): Travelling with a larger group? I can arrange a private passenger van with a dedicated driver for an additional fee to comfortably accommodate everyone.

- Luxury Vehicle Upgrade Option: Standard private transport is included, but if you prefer an upgraded luxury vehicle with a dedicated chauffeur (separate from myself as your guide), this can be arranged for an additional fee upon request.

- Footwear & Mobility: We will be doing light to moderate walking along historic cobblestone streets, so I highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.

- Private Vehicle & Driver: I provide private transport for our seamless drive between downtown, Hercílio Luz Bridge, and Santo Antônio de Lisboa so you can relax between stops.

- Rain or Shine: My tours run rain or shine! If the forecast calls for rain, just bring an umbrella or light jacket so we can still enjoy our outdoor historic walks.

- Accessibility & Luggage: If anyone in your group has mobility concerns or is traveling with bulky luggage or strollers, please reach out before booking so I can adapt our itinerary and vehicle space.

Here is my general weekly availability for this tour:

- Mondays: Available starting from 11:00 AM.

- Tuesdays & Wednesdays: I am not personally available, but I can arrange another expert local guide from our team to lead your private tour.

- Thursdays through Sundays: Fully available for tours! Please note that bookings require at least 2 days' advance notice.

My availability is flexible throughout the week. On Mondays, I am available starting at 10:00 AM. From Thursday to Sunday, I am fully available for tours; however, to ensure the highest quality experience and seamless logistics, advanced booking is required. I am unable to accept last-minute bookings for these days, so please schedule ahead of time.
