Tutong River (Photo Stop) & Toilet Break
First stop in Tutong Town, have a convenient toilet break at the public facilities before taking in the peaceful surroundings of the Tutong River. This scenic riverside spot offers a perfect photo opportunity, with views of the calm flowing river and lush greenery that reflect the tranquil charm of the other side of Brunei. A refreshing pause to stretch, unwind and capture memorable moments before continuing your journey.
Luagan Lalak
Located about 25–30 km inland, the trip typically takes around 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes by car. As you leave Tutong Town, the route passes through quiet rural areas, small villages and stretches of lush tropical forest, offering a glimpse of local life beyond the main highway.
Luagan Lalak, unlike a typical lake, this serene spot is a seasonal floodplain that changes its appearance throughout the year, creating a constantly evolving landscape. Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a tranquil setting perfect for a short walk, photography and enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature. Take in beautiful reflections on the still water, spot birds and wildlife, and experience the quiet atmosphere away from the city. Lunch & Kuala Belait Town (Cruising)
Have lunch at a local restaurant upon arriving at Kuala Belait Town, featuring Bruneian or regional cuisine to refuel for the day’s adventure. After that, experience a leisurely cruising tour around the town, taking in the scenic views along the Belait River. This allows you to observe daily life and the town’s charming atmosphere.
Supa Save (Panaga)
Take a short break from the road to stretch your legs, refresh and grab snacks or drinks. This popular one‑stop shop for a wide range of everyday items, from fresh produce and pantry staples to imported foods, household goods and snacks, making it useful for everyone (both locals and the expatriates). It is also a nice spot to experience a slice of everyday life in the Panaga area before continuing to Seria.
Seria Billionth Barrel Monument & Nodding Donkey Overview
Visit two of Brunei’s most iconic oil-related landmarks,
Billionth Barrel Monument:
Commemorates the production of Brunei’s one-billionth barrel of oil, symbolizing the nation’s long-standing petroleum industry and its impact on Brunei’s development. A popular photo spot for people who are interested in the nation’s industrial heritage. Accompanied by a mural artwork, done by 30 local artists that add context and visual storytelling to the site. (Done accordance to Brunei Shell Petroleum on their 90th Anniversary and launched in 2019)
Nodding Donkey:
The computerized pumping units, operating for 24/7, providing a fascinating glimpse into how crude oil is extracted. Observing these mechanical giants in their coastal and industrial setting gives travelers an authentic sense of Brunei’s energy industry, blending engineering, and landscape in one memorable stop.
Seria Town & Seria Crude Oil Terminal (Cruising)
Seria Town:
Relaxing drive through Seria town, a small neighborhood with a mix of industrial landmarks, and coastal scenery, giving a glimpse into both everyday life of the locals.
Seria Crude Oil Terminal:
Drive pass Seria Crude Oil Terminal where you will get to view the oil storage tanks and pipelines, highlighting the scale and organization of Brunei’s petroleum operations. The surrounding provides excellent photo opportunities, blending industrial heritage with natural scenery.
Jerudong Park The Arch (Photo stop)
This grand gateway, with its vibrant colors and elegant design, marks the entrance to Brunei’s premier amusement and recreational park.
