You will travel by a speedboat across the Brunei River, getting close-up views of the stilted houses that make up Water Village, or what the locals called it as "Kampong Ayer" (Local terms). The village is home to thousands of local residents and features such as the wooden houses on stilts above the water, mosques and mosques (all connected by walkways). You will also get to take a glimpse into daily life, from fishing to family routines.

After that, step inside a resident’s home. Despite the rustic exterior, many homes are surprisingly modern inside, often equipped with air-conditioned, comfortable living areas, TVs and modern kitchen. The host will usually welcome you warmly, reflecting Bruneian hospitality. You will be served simple local traditional delicacies, tea or coffee. Take a speedboat ride into the dense mangrove swamps. These forests are a vital coastal ecosystem. As you cruise deeper into the mangrove swamps, there will be occasional stops for wildlife viewing and photography.

One of the biggest highlights is searching for rare wildlife such as the iconic Proboscis Monkeys chewing on leaves or swaying and jumping on the trees, monitor lizards resting along riverbanks, birds like kingfishers, egrets and eagles can be found on the sky, riverbanks or flying pass.
